Shdhxjedjx Huhncfhjjfr struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Huhncfhjjfr looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Yeth fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Huhncfhjjfr. Huhncfhjjfr tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Yeth is able to avoid easily. Yeth fakes the leg kick and cracks Huhncfhjjfr in the body. Huhncfhjjfr looks gassed! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yeth comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Yeth drops Huhncfhjjfr with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Huhncfhjjfr! Yeth dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Gonzales changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. LaRoche looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! LaRoche wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Gonzales has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Gonzales is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and LaRoche defends it well. LaRoche wants to get back to his feet. Gonzales passes to full mount! Gonzales postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. LaRoche looks a forlorn figure.

St Velasquez looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Rua looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! St Velasquez lands a couple of decent looking shots. St Velasquez controlling from the top position.
