 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zedong stalks Rosales and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rosales's face. Rosales staggers backwards, shaken.
 It looks like Thiago Rosales has been cut. A big left from Zedong misses. Rosales has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Zedong. Zedong rushes Rosales with punches - Rosales moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Rosales goes down! Zedong follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendes feints and then cracks McDonald's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McDonald down. Mendes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McDonald tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mendes was well out of range. Poor timing from McDonald. McDonald throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Jesus Mendes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mendes connects with a solid leg kick. Nice sprawl there from Mendes as McDonald shoots in.
Mendes closes the distance and clinches. A head punch on the inside from McDonald fails to land. McDonald tries a body shot but Mendes blocks it.

McDonald tries to free his leg and advance position but Mendes is retaining full guard. Mendes tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mendes isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. McDonald stacks Mendes on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by McDonald! McDonald sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mendes is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

McDonald wants to free his trapped foot but Mendes is holding on for dear life with his legs. McDonald throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Mendes slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Mendes lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McDonald checks a leg kick. Mendes tries a head kick but it misses.

Mendes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McDonald can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McDonald slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

 It looks like Semmy Man Choi has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Linhaeres wants to take Man Choi's back but he can't do it this time. Linhaeres tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Linhaeres lands a big elbow - Man Choi is in trouble! Blues closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Olajide's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Olajide utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Blues trying to control the position from guard on top but Olajide is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blues looking to pass the guard. Blues wants to control from the top but Olajide keeps moving. Blues postures up in Olajide's guard and throws a big left but Olajide blocks it. Blues looking to sit in guard and control but Olajide gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Blues looking to hit a scissor sweep but Olajide is one step ahead there.

Olajide jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Blues manages to avoid the submission attempt. Blues wants to get back to his feet.
