Ceausu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rush doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rush manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rush lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ceausu circles away quickly and effectively.

Rush connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ceausu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rush is fending him off so far but Ceausu persists. Nope, Rush circles away and we're back to standing.

Rush throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ceausu was covering up waiting for the punch and Rush finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rush paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Ceausu - great work!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Sousa shoots in looking for a takedown but Fistyrian manages to keep the fight standing, pushing De Sousa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
De Sousa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fistyrian.

Fistyrian has closed the distance and engaged De Sousa in a clinch.
Fistyrian unloads a knee to the mid-section. De Sousa lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Fistyrian jerks De Sousa's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! De Sousa drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Fistyrian goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Fistyrian because De Sousa was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
