The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Challis is looking to slow Wyman down with leg kicks. A nice inside leg kick there by Challis. That's going to slow Wyman down. Challis throws a quick inside leg kick. Wyman ducks right into an uppercut from Challis. Wyman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wyman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Challis lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wyman's sensitive parts. Zedong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Castillo looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Castillo won't allow Zedong to get back to his feet. Castillo wants to pass the guard but Zedong is keeping the position. Castillo trying to control but Zedong is working from the bottom. Castillo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Castillo tries to free his leg and advance position but Zedong is retaining full guard. Castillo sitting in guard, not really doing much. Castillo prevents Zedong from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zedong scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Zedong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Zedong stuffs the takedown attempt from Castillo. Castillo gets slowly back to his feet. Castillo tries for a takedown but Zedong sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Zedong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Castillo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Castillo checks the leg kick. Castillo throws a series of strikes that have Zedong backpedaling.

That's one minute gone in the round. Castillo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zedong was covering up waiting for the punch and Castillo finishes the takedown easily into guard. Zedong pushes Castillo off and gets back to his feet.
Castillo looks for a takedown but Zedong sprawls well. Zedong throws a sloppy head kick and Castillo moves out of range easily. Zedong misses with a double jab.

Castillo gets the takedown into side control. Castillo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zedong knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Zedong pushes Castillo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Castillo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Castillo tries for a kimura but Zedong is defending well. Castillo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Zedong looks calm but he's in trouble here. Castillo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Zedong is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Castillo lets go of the hold and Zedong can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Santoro instigates a clinch. Santoro tightens his grip and picks Honda up, before dumping him to the ground. Honda manages to land in guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Honda keeping moving, preventing Santoro from controlling successfully. Santoro working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Santoro trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Honda manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
