0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jordan Graham! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lauren looks to land a combination but Graham avoids it well. Lauren is looking to clinch but Graham is avoiding it.
A lazy left from Graham finds it's target. Lauren tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lauren walks into a left hand. Lauren dodges the punch combination from Graham.
Lauren tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Graham manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Graham connects with a nice looking jab.
Lauren tries to close the distance and clinch but Graham swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Graham moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Graham showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lauren.

Graham receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Lauren is trying to break the clinch but Graham is controlling him. Graham breaks the clinch.
Lauren fails in his attempt to clinch. Lauren gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Graham. Graham misses with a double jab
and Lauren counters with a left and a right that stings Graham. Graham is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lauren. Lauren ducks under a wild hook from Graham.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lauren rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Graham moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lauren is looking to clinch but Graham is avoiding it.
Lauren tries to clinch up but Graham circles away and keeps his distance. Lauren fails with an attempt to clinch.
Graham throws a looping overhand right but Lauren ducks down to avoid it. Lauren tries to clinch up. Lauren rushes Graham and presses him up against the cage. Lauren is trying to break the clinch but Graham has him pressed against the cage. Graham pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The fight stays on the outside here - Lauren looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Graham lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Graham circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lauren is breathing heavily. Graham throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Graham feints a jab promting Lauren to slip. Graham then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lauren slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Graham with a jab. Lauren tries to clinch up. Lauren fails in his attempt to clinch. Lauren is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nice jab there from Graham.

Monteiro wants to get back to striking at distance but Miller won't allow it.
Monteiro working hard to break the clinch. Miller has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Monteiro is trying to keep an underhook but Miller manages to get the takedown into half guard. Miller controlling the pace. Monteiro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Miller perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Denny Miller wasn't active enough on the ground. Monteiro rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is keeping an eye on Miller - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A left hand lands to the body for Miller.
Miller content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Miller makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Miller is trying to trip Monteiro. He has hold of a leg but Monteiro is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Miller persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Miller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Monteiro trying to keep a closed guard but Miller is proving a slippery customer.
Miller is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Denny Miller was stalling too much, according to the referee. Monteiro has a takedown stuffed. Monteiro shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Monteiro fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonah Monteiro. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck with that takedown attempt from Monteiro. Miller closes the distance and clinches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pavelec tries to bum rush Pure with a series of wild strikes but Pure uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pavelec throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pure. Pavelec swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pure counters with a one-two to the body. Pure moves in looking to clinch but Pavelec pushes him off. Pure closes the distance and pushes Pavelec back into the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pure is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Pure tries to score a body lock takedown but Pavelec shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Pure keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pavelec's efforts to push away. Pure manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Pavelec has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pure is proving hard to escape from. Pure has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pavelec decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Pure dives in and grabs Pavelec's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pavelec pushes down on Pure's head and hops out. Zamiennik Pavelec is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pure misses with a jab, cross combination.

Pure postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Pure's corner is telling him to maintain position. Pure connects with a couple of short punches. Pure passes Pavelec's left leg - he's now in half guard. Pure wants to take a breather but Pavelec is having none of it.

Pure seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pavelec does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Pure landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Pure has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Pure scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pure jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Pavelec manages to avoid the submission attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pure creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Pure moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Pure working the body and head with strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pure is looking to take a break and control but Pavelec is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pure lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Pavelec down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wilford Pure dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pure clinches. Pavelec is trying to force a seperation but Pure has the dominant position. Pure manages to break the clinch.

Pavelec leaves Pure with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Zamiennik Pavelec seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pavelec throws a combination that misses and Pure counters with a left and a right that hurts Pavelec! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Pure jumps into full mount! Pavelec is still in real trouble! Can Pure finish him? As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pratama has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rios is working away from the top position though. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams gets in close and instigates a clinch. Williams has Jackson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jackson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Jackson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Williams is pushing Jackson's head away, looking to escape. Jackson manages to hold on to the position though. Jackson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Williams is trying to control Jackson's posture but Jackson avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jackson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Williams pushes Jackson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jackson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Jackson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams is looking for a sweep. Williams is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Williams manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jackson's best efforts. Williams is looking to escape. Jackson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Williams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jackson throws a series of strikes that have Williams backpedaling.
It looks like Larry Williams has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Williams misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Horrible takedown by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams which made him look bad. Williams fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larry Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Williams slaps away a takedown attempt from Jackson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson thows a leg kick but Williams checks it and Williams counters with a takedown into side control. Williams lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Jackson looks gassed! Williams has an Americana. Jackson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Williams is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Williams hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Houle gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kohlbeck counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Houle thinking. Houle decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Houle trying to pass the guard but Kohlbeck defending well. Houle passes the guard and advances to mount! Houle trying to control but Kohlbeck is having none of it. Houle controlling the pace for now. Houle trying to control but he's not successful this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Houle wants to finish this one by submission but Kohlbeck is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Houle. Houle is working for a guillotine from mount but Kohlbeck frees his head quite easily.

Houle goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kohlbeck has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Houle but great work by Kohlbeck. Kohlbeck landing a few strikes. Kohlbeck is looking to take a break and control but Houle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Houle manages to get back to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Houle is looking for a sweep. Kohlbeck is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Houle looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
