The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ciplin with a lazy takedown attempt and Granatyk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Oleshko Ciplin has been cut. Ciplin shoots in looking for a takedown but Granatyk manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ciplin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Granatyk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ciplin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ciplin wants it to stay on the feet. Lexin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Lexin has Silva pressed against the cage, preventing Silva from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Lexin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Silva gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Lexin has picked Silva up - he's going for a ride! Lexin dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Damkovski will feel that in the morning. Damkovski sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Damkovski looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Again thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Damkovski if he has to take too many more of those.
Crunch! Again slams his shin into Damkovski's torso. A decent looking body kick lands there for Again. Again throws a leg kick which misses Damkovski's front leg but catches the back leg as Damkovski tries to avoid it. Again throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Again lands a big head kick that sends Damkovski tumbling to the mat! Again takes a step backwards and waves Damkovski back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Damkovski is rocked!
It looks like Artyom Damkovski has been cut. Again feints a jab and as Damkovski dips his head, Again unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Damkovski right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Damkovski falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Again smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
