Gracie seems to be working for a kimura but Noel defends the submission attempt.
Noel tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gracie catches Noel with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Noel shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard.
Gracie is pulling down on Noel's head. It's preventing any offense from Noel, at least for the moment.
Noel tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.
Noel throwing strikes from guard but Gracie blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Noel is one step ahead there.
Gracie has control of Noel's left arm, preventing Noel from doing any damage.

Gracie is looking to sinch up a triangle. Noel throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gracie's body to avoid the submission. Gracie has instead reached around Noel's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gracie arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
