Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Atwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laish Tenedos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tenedos leaves Atwood with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The crowd cheers as Atwood lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tenedos doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Laish Tenedos has been cut.
Eddy Atwood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tenedos tries to sprawl but Atwood drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Atwood thows a huge punch but Tenedos dodges it nicely.
Atwood seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Atwood will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Ladd goes for a small jab and connects. Now Ladd goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Piekny stumbles back but Ladd runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Piekny to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Piekny will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Joel Ladd spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
