The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Barbakar enables Van Hammersmith to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Barbakar manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Basaev steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Freeman is out on his feet! Basaev sets himself and nearly takes Freeman's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
