Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Goncalo Alves!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ratskin misses the jab.
Ratskin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alves circles away quickly and effectively.
Alves connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Alves throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ratskin's head.
Ratskin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Alves throws a nice head kick!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Alves scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Alves swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ratskin.
Ratskin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Alves.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ratskin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Alves - the referee stops the clock and Ratskin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Alves. Ratskin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Alves pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ratskin tries to clinch up but Alves circles away and keeps his distance.
Alves is looking to score with low kicks.
Ratskin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Alves, pushing him back against the cage.
Ratskin lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Alves backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round.

A frustrated look appears on Alves's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Ratskin taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ratskin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ratskin misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ratskin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Alves.
Alves escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ratskin cracks Alves with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Ratskin misses the shot to the body.
Alexander Ratskin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Alves keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ratskin.
Ratskin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ratskin checks the leg kick.
Alves has a takedown stuffed.

Ratskin takes a swing at Alves's ribcage but misses.
Alves fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alves ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Alves throws a chopping leg kick but Ratskin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Ratskin tries to bum rush Alves with a series of wild strikes but Alves uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ratskin jabs at Alves's body.
Horrible takedown by Alves or perhaps it was just good defense by Ratskin which made him look bad.
Alexander Ratskin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Goncalo Alves.
Ratskin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alves moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ratskin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Alvess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Goncalo Alves has been cut.
Alves moves away from the strike by Ratskin.
Sloppy strikes from Ratskin. Those never looked like landing.
Alves scores with a punch to the head.
Ratskin tries to clinch up.
Alves tries a head kick but it misses.
Ratskin drops Alves with a naaaaasty hook - Alves is in real trouble here! Ratskin dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
