Shimura is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Two Steps From Hell - Archangel. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Broflovyski slips a jab and a cross from Shimura.
Broflovyski lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
It looks like Daizo Shimura has been cut. Nice cross by Broflovyski. Shimura slips a straight right by Broflovyski. Broflovyski misses with the combination.
Shimura looks to land a combination but Broflovyski avoids it well. Shimura looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Broflovyski loads up on a big right hand but Shimura slips the punch. Broflovyski is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Shimura. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Broflovyski throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Broflovyski scores with a hook.
Shimura is rocked! Broflovyski misses the jab. Shimura is still on wobbly legs! Can Broflovyski finish him? Broflovyski circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Shimura to the canvas! Shimura doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Broflovyski keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

I think Mayhem might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Head Like a Hole. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gwettman Low! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Low fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mayhem uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Low.
Mayhem tries to clinch up. Mayhem is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Low. Low throws a hook to the side of Mayhem's head but Mayhem sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Mayhem slips a jab and a cross from Low.
Mayhem doesn't manage to clinch there - Low circles away.
Gwettman Low seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Low throws a nice looking combination but Mayhem bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Low throws a nice head kick!
Mayhem moves in looking to clinch but Low pushes him off. The fight stays on the outside here - Mayhem looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Low throws a head kick but Mayhem moves out of range.
Low with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Mayhem is looking to clinch. Low tries a head kick but it misses.
Low throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mayhem wants to clinch up but Low keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Low throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Mayhem counters with a nice double leg into guard. Mayhem is stalling in the full guard. Low is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mayhem sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Low's guard. Mayhem maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Low could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mayhem has cracked it and Low is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mayhem!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mason Mayhem! Mason Mayhem decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Koko LaRue! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LaRue tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Saw swivels and escapes. Saw fakes high and swings low for a body shot but LaRue manages to avoid it. LaRue tries to clinch up. Saw dives in and scores a takedown into LaRue's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Saw trying to control the position from guard on top but LaRue is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. LaRue pulls Saw in to control the position. Saw stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. LaRue swivels though and keeps the full guard. Saw slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. LaRue tries to bench press Saw off him but Saw keeps the position. Saw knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for LaRue on the ground. LaRue is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Saw wants to control for a moment but LaRue uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

LaRue is defending against the submission attempts here by Saw.
The fighters are battling for position here. LaRue manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Saw trying to control but LaRue is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. LaRue keeping full guard, as Saw tries to pass.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Saw accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Saw connects with a couple of short punches. LaRue is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Saw really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. LaRue is thwarting Saw's attempts to control the position. LaRue throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saw tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. LaRue not doing much here.
Saw has a hand on LaRue's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. LaRue takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Saw wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Will LaRue go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
LaRue controls the position. LaRue is hanging on to Saw's back as he tries to escape.
Saw is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Saw is covering up but some of the strikes from LaRue are getting through and doing damage.
LaRue is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Saw is defending well though. LaRue let's go of the attempt for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! LaRue scores with strikes from the back.

Saw gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. LaRue rushes Saw and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. LaRue breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Saw has his takedown stuffed and LaRue counters with a stiff right hand. Saw throws a one two combo.
It looks like Koko LaRue has been cut. Saw shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and LaRue counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! LaRue is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
LaRue is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. LaRue is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Saw has managed to free his arm - good work. LaRue tries to pass to full mount but Saw defends it. Saw wants to control but LaRue passes into side.
LaRue is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Saw is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

LaRue looking to control but Saw is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The referee warns Saw that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Saw tries to hold on but LaRue pushes him away. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for LaRue. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. LaRue looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. This has been an exciting period of action! LaRue tries to control but Saw wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Koko LaRue showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Koko LaRue's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Saw feints and as LaRue raises his hands in defense, Saw changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. LaRue is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. LaRue manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Koko LaRue has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Saw looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Saw tries to pass the half guard into mount. LaRue knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. LaRue is trying is best to control the position here. LaRue makes his way to full guard. A much better position for LaRue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. LaRue managing to control the position. Saw will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. LaRue's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. LaRue manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. LaRue takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that's the end of the fight! Koko LaRue comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well LaRue has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Hito is trying to push Jones away but Jones has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Hito wants to break free but Jones has control.

Hero Hito has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Jones. Jones can't get the takedown.

Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hito sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hito lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Hito thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Jones is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hito measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Jones! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LeFloe lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Deby is rocked! No joy there for LeFloe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oh Deby is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Deby bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Deby seems to have got his legs back now. LeFloe is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Deby is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. LeFloe is trying to escape the position but Deby is controlling the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. LeFloe is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Deby has just dragged him back down to the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. LeFloe prevents Deby from moving into mount. Deby misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Deby has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deby is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but LeFloe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. LeFloe pushes Deby away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Deby gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Deby wants to lay and pray for a moment but LeFloe keeps working. LeFloe is trying to buck Deby off. Deby in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. LeFloe is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Deby is controlling him well. Deby trying to control the position but LeFloe is working away. LeFloe is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Deby has just dragged him back down to the mat. LeFloe looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Deby trying to control the action but LeFloe is working from the bottom. The referee asks Deby politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Deby prefers to stall for the moment though. Deby is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, LeFloe has escaped the position, nice work there. LeFloe throws Deby to one side and escapes! LeFloe scores with a nice strike. Deby fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Deby will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. This has been an exciting period of action! LeFloe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Deby. That's going to take a lot out of him. Deby shoots in looking for a takedown. LeFloe tries to sprawl out of it but Deby keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. LeFloe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A jab from LeFloe finds it's way through Deby's defenses. LeFloe connects with the punch. LeFloe lands a nice hook to Deby's body. Deby takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. LeFloe works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. LeFloe scores with a jab to the body. LeFloe punishes Deby's body with a nice straight punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! LeFloe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A shot in the inside from LeFloe. LeFloe lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. LeFloe works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
That's four minutes gone in the round. LeFloe lands with a short punch from the clinch.
LeFloe lands on the inside with an uppercut. A shot in the inside from LeFloe. LeFloe lands with a short shot to the head. Deby jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as LeFloe walks away with a smile on his face. Deby gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. LeFloe bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Alan LeFloe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Deby's hands are dropping dangerously low here and LeFloe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Deby scrambles back to his feet. LeFloe moves into the clinch successfully.
Deby is trying to push LeFloe away but LeFloe has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! LeFloe lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, LeFloe creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A short right from LeFloe on the inside. LeFloe throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Debys head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alan LeFloe dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
LeFloe throws a jab when Deby was well out of range. Nice sprawl there from LeFloe as Deby shoots in. Deby looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? LeFloe is fending him off so far but Deby persists. Nope, LeFloe circles away and we're back to standing. LeFloe closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Deby out cold! Deby corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Higgs tries to clinch there but Jah circles away.

Nice takedown defense from Jah. No joy for Higgs on that attempt. Higgs is looking to clinch. Higgs throws a series of strikes that have Jah backpedaling.

Jah shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jah was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Higgs tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kurt Higgs dominated that round. The cut man is working on Eldar Jah's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jah takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Higgs has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Higgs and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Jah takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Higgs gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jah misses with a short punch on the inside. Jah fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Higgs has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jah. Higgs is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Jah rather than just go for the knockout. Higgs wants to clinch up but Jah keeps it at a distance. Jah will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Jah stalling in the clinch but Higgs improves position. Jah has Higgs pressed against the cage, preventing Higgs from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kurt Higgs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Jah makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Jah is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Higgs blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Higgs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Higgs lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Higgs throws a chopping leg kick but Jah manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Jah manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Higgs on his heels. He'll look to pass Higgs's guard now, I'm sure. Jah stopping the sweep attempt from Higgs. Higgs has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Higgs has his foot on Jah's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jah works his way back into a safe position though. Higgs looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jah landing with the ground and pound. Jah trying to control but Higgs is working from the bottom. Eldar Jah has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Higgs working a defensive guard here.
Jah is in close to Higgs's body, working some short punches and elbows. Jah missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jah controls from within his opponent's guard. Jah throws a big right hand that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jah in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Higgs is trying to keep Jah in close.
Jah is pushing down on Higgs's leg trying to pass to half guard. Higgs is fighting to maintain full guard but Jah has managed to sneak the leg through. Jah prevents Higgs from improving his position. Higgs trying to control from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Higgs wants to get back to full guard. Jah missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kurt Higgs is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Higgs blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jah.
And that's the end of the fight! Kurt Higgs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Higgs winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Todoh shoots in looking for a takedown but Vuorinen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Todoh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Todoh lands a body shot.

Todoh wants to clinch. Todoh shoots in and drives through. Vuorinen sprawls well. Jarkko Vuorinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. After a battle for position, Todoh asserts his dominance and retains side control. Vuorinen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Todoh controls the position. Vuorinen is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Todoh has knee on belly and moves into mount. Todoh controlling from mount. Todoh throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Vuorinen has his hands clasped together but Todoh breaks the hold and Vuorinen is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Todoh!

Howard moves out of range of the strikes. Matrix ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Matrix drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Howard wants to control but Matrix postures up. Howard manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Howard gets back to full guard.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Howard gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Howard slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Howard looking for a triangle here. Matrix is fighting it but it looks tight! Howard pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Matrix is tapping out - this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alonso doesn't succeed with the takedown and Davis counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Davis. Alonso wants to sweep here but Davis controlling him for the moment. Alonso on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Alonso tries to get out of the position. Alonso trying to control the position here. Davis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
