0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kony Joesph! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joesph stuffs the takedown. No luck for Dredd with that takedown attempt. Joesph shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dredd sprawls well. Dredd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Joesph gets slowly back to his feet. Joesph fails with the takedown and Dredd counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Joesph! Dredd lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Joesph hang on? We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Joesph can do anything to dispel that myth. Joesph is bucking up trying to escape but Dredd cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dredd unloads with some shots from mount but Joesph bucks and avoids them well.

Joesph really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dredd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dredd lands a big shot there that rocks Joesph but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Dick. Those never looked like landing. Dias leaves Dick with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Dick wants to land a leg kick but Dias is out of range. Dick throws a right hand that Dias ducks under and follows up with a left that Dias also avoids with ease. Dick throws a sloppy head kick and Dias moves out of range easily. Dias looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Dias trying to control the action but Dick is working from the bottom. Dias is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Dias stops Dick from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dick blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dias. Dias throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Dias has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dick defend it? Dias steps over the head and cranks it - Dick is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Dias!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Connely scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Abbit doesn't seem bothered though. Connely feints and then cracks Abbit's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Abbit down. Connely attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Billy Connely seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Connely drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Abbit working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Connely. Abbit can't keep his opponent in guard - Connely advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Connely lands strikes from half guard. Abbit is trying to stand up here but Connely is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Connely scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Connely thows a huge punch but Abbit dodges it nicely.

Connely thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Abbit's head. Connely missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Connely is nestled in close to Abbit, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendor blocks a jab. Mendor keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vass throws a sloppy head kick and Mendor counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Vass is lucky that one didn't land flush. Vass ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Mendor connects with a solid leg kick. Mendor throws a nice inside leg kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Mendor. That's going to slow Vass down. Mendor connects with a high kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mendor misses with a series of wild punches.
Marduk Mendor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick from Mendor lands but Vass takes it in his stride. Vass avoids the head kick by Mendor.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mendor fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vass. Mendor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Vass swings away with a body shot that misses
and Mendor counters with a good, hard body kick but Vass shrugs it off. Mendor throws a front kick that sends Vass stumbling back into the cage. A nice inside leg kick there by Mendor. That's going to slow Vass down. Vass throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mendor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vass circles away quickly and effectively. Mendor is looking to slow Vass down with leg kicks. Mendor lands a two punch combo.

Vass is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mendor circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Vass drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Mendor follows Vass to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Sleek throws a combination that misses and Stone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Stone drives through and clinches with Sleek against the cage.
