The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barry tries to avoid it but Thompson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barry to the ground. Barry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Barry avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Barry gets caught flat footed, as Thompson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Barry scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Thompson looks to land a body kick but Barry moved away.
