This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hardcore Irish is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Out lands a final crushing right hand to drop Hardcore Irish to the mat with a gruesome thud! Out is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Summers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Demon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Summers.

and Summers counters with a nice double leg into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Demon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Summers working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Summers thows a big elbow that misses.
Summers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Summers looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Demon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Summers moves into full mount! Demon won't be happy about that!

Summers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Summers softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Demon is out cold! Summers jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
