The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gbagbo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parker tries to avoid it but Gbagbo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parker to the ground. Parker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gbagbo shoots in for a takedown but Parker shows good takedown defense. Parker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Laurent Gbagbo has been cut. Parker misses with a body shot.
Parker lands with a good body shot. Gbagbo has closed the distance and engaged Parker in a clinch.
Parker lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Gbagbo has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Parker is trying to keep an underhook but Gbagbo manages to get the takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Parker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gbagbo manages to avoid it. Gbagbo tries for a takedown but Parker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Parker scores with a one two! Gbagbo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Parker cracks a nice hook into Gbagbo's ribs. Parker lands a nice hook to Gbagbo's body. Gbagbo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Parker wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Parker feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gbagbos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Laurent Gbagbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gbagbo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Parker thuds a left hand into Gbagbo's body. Parker cracks Gbagbo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Parker has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gbagbo to stand back up!

The cut above Laurent Gbagbo's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Parker lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Gbagbo - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Parker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie tries for a takedown but Cro Cop circles away easily and Cro Cop counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gracie won't be happy with that. Gracie stops Cro Cop from passing to mount. Cro Cop is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gracie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Gracie manages to get back to half guard. Gracie keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Gracie trying to control but Cro Cop postures up.
Cro Cop is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Gracie reverses the position - he's now on top in Cro Cop's guard.

Gracie tries to hold on but Cro Cop postures up. Gracie stops Cro Cop from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Cro Cop is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Gracie tries to reverse the position but Cro Cop maintains control.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Reder creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Reder lands a shoulder strike. Reder pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sato tries a head kick but it misses.
Reder tests Sato's chin there with a solid looking shot. Reder drives through with a takedown into Sato's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Reder postures up in Sato's guard and throws a big left but Sato blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sato is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sato is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Reder defends well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reder loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Sato looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sato pushing down on Reder's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Reder is looking for a sweep. Sato is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sato in particular looking to stall. Reder is refusing to be controlled, as Sato sits in half guard.

Reder is trying to maintain the position but Sato is very close to passing his half guard. Sato scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Sato is trying to control the action in half guard but Reder is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Reder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sato on the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mana Sato was stalling too much, according to the referee. Reder has managed to clinch.

Sato circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Reder lands with a right hand. Reder scores with a nice head shot. Reder lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sato throws a lazy head kick and Reder counters with a straight right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reder catches Sato with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Reder ducks under a wild hook from Sato. Sato takes a shot right to the bread basket. Reder is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Reder avoids the body shot from Sato.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Bartolome. Woo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bartolome as he jumps to the side. Bartolome bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Woo moves out of range of the strikes. Woo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bartolome is able to avoid easily. Woo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bartolome sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Woo somewhat. Bartolome lands a leg kick that knocks Woo off balance momentarily.
