Hardin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Thunder Kiss '65 by White Zombie. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Soze stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Decimus Maximus has been cut.
Soze misses with a low kick.
Maximus misses with a takedown attempt
and Soze counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Soze lands a glancing blow to the side of Maximus's head.
Soze's jab looks to have found its range, popping Maximus under the eye.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Maximus doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Soze counters with a big uppercut that knocks Maximus off his feet! Soze dives into side control looking to finish!

Maximus is rocked!

Soze decides to stand back up.
Oh Maximus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Soze fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Maximus out cold! Brutal finish!
