The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good leg kick by Neo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Neo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Thomas Neo has been cut. Dude cracks Neo with a right hand to the side of the head. Sloppy strikes from Dude. Those never looked like landing. Dude on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Neo. Neo obviously looking to wear him down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dude takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Dude thuds a left hand into Neo's body. Dude swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dude lands a big head kick that sends Neo tumbling to the mat! Dude takes a step backwards and waves Neo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Neo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Neo seems to have got his legs back now. Dude darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A slapping leg kick lands for Dude.

He turns his back on Dude, trying to create some distance but Dude rushes him, striking wildly and Neo goes down! The referee tackles Dude into the cage to end the fight! Dude is one violent man!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A chopping leg kick lands by uisce beag. Brasi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as uisce beag sprawls well. uisce beag wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brasi gets slowly back to his feet. Brasi fails with the takedown. uisce beag gets caught flat footed, as Brasi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. uisce beag lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brasi! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. uisce beag controlling the pace for now. uisce beag thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. uisce beag looking to ground and pound but Brasi is blocking nicely. uisce beag has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Usagi wants to control from the top but Montourski keeps moving. Montourski is trying to control the position but Usagi postures up. Usagi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Montourski dives on top into guard. Montourski won't allow Usagi to sweep him here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Usagi goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Montourski rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Usagi's guard! Nice work there by Montourski! Montourski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Montourski is working Usagi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Taylor gets tackled into the cage by Ouch. Ouch maintains the clinch. Taylor lands a body punch in the clinch. Taylor lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Ouch throws an elbow that misses.

Taylor tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Taylor lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Taylor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ouch tries to avoid it but Taylor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ouch to the ground. Ouch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice defenses there by Ouch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Taylor checks the leg kick. Taylor throws a body kick that misses. Taylor doesn't manage to clinch there - Ouch circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ouch. Ouch tries to land a front kick but Taylor steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Ouch throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Taylor. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taylor trying to control but Ouch is working from the bottom. Ouch looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ouch wants to stand up but Taylor is controlling him. Taylor with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ouch is on top in guard.

Romanov is in the full mount, landing strikes. Nicolai Romanov has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Romanov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Romanov unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Colossus wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Romanov celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Barone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Acer paws at him with a jab and circles away. Barone cracks Acer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Acer tries for a takedown but Barone sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Barone lands a nice looking body kick. Acer walks forward, straight into a front kick from Barone. Barone lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Acer on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Barone. Barone obviously looking to wear him down.
Barone throws a sloppy head kick and Acer moves out of range easily. Barone digs a good hook to Acer's body.

Bruno Barone dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Isiah Acer's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Acer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barone can pounce on him.
Barone tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Acer is able to avoid easily. Bruno Barone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barone rushes Acer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Acer will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Barone up against the cage. Barone lands a left hand.

Acer has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Barone. Acer takes an elbow to the forehead. Barone lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Acer backwards.

9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Fairtex! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lupe checks a leg kick nicely. Lupe thows a body shot but no joy. Fairtex scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Fairtex bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Fairtex throws a strike aimed at the side of Lupe's head but Lupe avoids it well. Fairtex landing a few strikes. A lull in the action here as Fairtex stalls from top position. Lupe stops Fairtex from passing to mount. Lupe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fairtex on the ground. Lupe managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Fairtex.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fairtex landing strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fairtex trying to control the action but Lupe is working from the bottom. Fairtex connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lupe some visible discomfort.
A lull in the action here. Lupe dodges the ground and pound from Fairtex. Fairtex tries to score with some ground and pound. Lupe controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Fairtex scores with punches from side control. Fairtex lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Fairtex seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Fairtex tries to move to mount but Lupe blocks the move with his legs. Lupe on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lupe tries to get out of the position. Lupe wants to get back to his feet but Fairtex drags him back down. Fairtex throwing strikes but missing, from side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fairtex takes a little break here. Lupe wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. An elbow from Fairtex crashes against the mat.
Fairtex trying to control the action but Lupe is working from the bottom. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fairtex lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Lupe is not content to let Fairtex control the position. Lupe taking punishment in the form of punches.
Lupe takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Lupe is rocked! Fairtex landing strikes. Oh Lupe is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lupe is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fairtex lands a strong strike to the head of Lupe. That's dazed him! Fairtex looking to finish here. Lupe is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Fairtex lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDermot connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Lava on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Lava connects with an inside leg kick. McDermot lands with a hook. Lava tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Remy Lava has been cut. Lava fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lava throws a sloppy head kick and McDermot counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lava is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McDermot's half guard. Lava throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Lava controlling the action here. Lava is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McDermot sees it coming and defends easily. McDermot is looking for a sweep. Lava is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lava looks to land a strike but McDermot avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Lava throws and elbow that misses. McDermot uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lava's guard. Nice move by McDermot! McDermot won't allow Lava to sweep him here. Lava has an active guard here but McDermot has managed to pass into half guard.
McDermot wants to control but Lava is keeping him busy. Lava is looking for a sweep. McDermot is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. McDermot sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lava defending well though. Lava moves into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McDermot content to stall in guard here. Lava is looking for a triangle here but McDermot uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
McDermot tries to score with some ground and pound. Lava controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. McDermot is looking to take a break and control but Lava is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. McDermot decides to stand back up. McDermot steps back and let's Lava get back to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lava bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McDermot's head backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDermot throws a hook but Lava blocks it. McDermot steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lava. That one must have hurt. Pat McDermot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lava dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McDermot. That did some damage! Lava scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Lava wants to land a leg kick but McDermot is out of range. McDermot misses the shot to the body. Lava lands a body shot.
Lava dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lava throws a low kick, looking for McDermot's leg but McDermot calmly moves out of range. McDermot attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Lava tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McDermot was well out of range. Poor timing from Lava. Lava shoots in for a double leg but McDermot sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lava misses with a low kick as McDermot jumps back. Remy Lava seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lava moves in looking to clinch but McDermot pushes him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lava moves into range and connects with a jab. McDermot swings for the body but Lava moves out of range.
Lava throws a wild body kick that McDermot sees coming a mile off. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lava looks to throw the jab but McDermot is out of range. Lava fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McDermot has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Lava checks the leg kick nicely there.

Lava takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Lava uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McDermot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lava throws a push kick but McDermot slaps the foot to one side. A slapping leg kick lands for Lava.
McDermot checks a leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Remy Lava will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Remy Lava's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lava scores with a decent looking hook. Horrible takedown by Lava or perhaps it was just good defense by McDermot which made him look bad. Lava fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Lava goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Lava slips a straight right by McDermot. Lava misses with a shot to the body and McDermot counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lava ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McDermot moves away. McDermot scores with a punch to the head. A looping hook to the body misses from McDermot. Lava does a little dance to reset his feet. A shot to the liver by McDermot. Beautiful body shot. Lava avoids the body shot from McDermot.
McDermot misses with a few strikes there.

McDermot takes a kick to the side of the head. McDermot throws a solid leg kick but Lava takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McDermot. Lava lands with a good body shot. Lava moves out of range as McDermot throws a body kick.
McDermot ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. McDermot circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lava throws a push kick but McDermot slaps the foot to one side. McDermot throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lava stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Lava throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lava feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McDermot's calf. McDermot lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Lava's jab looks to have found its range, popping McDermot under the eye. McDermot uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lava.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lava just misses with a punch to the body.
Lava closes the distance looking to clinch and McDermot counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lava's knee momentarily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McDermot lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Lava is rocked! McDermot throws an uppercut from hell that sends Lava clean off his feet! He's out cold! McDermot stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
