The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Golab shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bobins but Bobins pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bobins looking to score a takedown here. Golab is defending well but Bobins drives through and ends up in Golab's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Bobins is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Bobins lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Golab is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bobins looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bobins is working the ground and pound from guard. Bobins tries to free his leg and advance position but Golab is retaining full guard. Golab being controlled here, momentarily. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bobins won't allow Golab to sweep him here. Bobins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Golab is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bobins trying to control but Golab is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tyler Bobins just wasn't active enough. Bobins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Golab was well out of range. Poor timing from Bobins. Bobins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Golab wants to get back to full guard. Golab on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Bobins scoring with strikes to the body and head. Golab is looking to control Bobins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Golab avoid being mounted? Bobins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Golab actively working from the bottom here. Bobins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Golab on the ground. Bobins is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Golab sees it coming and defends easily. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leblanc tries a head kick but it misses.
Leblanc stuffs the takedown. Nice sprawl there from Leblanc as Tokito shoots in. Tokito will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Guillaume Leblanc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Tokito. Leblanc clinches up with Tokito and pushes him back against the cage. Tokito blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Tokito has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Leblanc uses from the top position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Leblanc wants to stand but Tokito has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Leblanc has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Tokito tries to pull guard but Leblanc holds him up against the cage and eventually Tokito drops back down to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tokito jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Leblanc walks away with a smile on his face. Tokito gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Uytr had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Operhalski defends it easily. Operhalski wants to control from the top but Uytr keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Operhalski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Uytr swivels though and keeps the full guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walters connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Jon Jones has been cut. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Walters. Walters darts in and clinches Jones up against the cage. Walters misses with an elbow strike.
