Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean McNamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McNamara has chosen Massive Attack - Teardrop (House M.D.) as his entrance music. Jon Roberts had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. McNamara bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Bova got a little sloppy there for a moment and Talofalani has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bova has managed to get both his arms back between Talofalani's legs - danger averted. Bova will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Talofalani just on the top of the head. Talofalani drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Talofalani - he's done!

Anderson takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Anderson controlling from the full mount. Silva sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Silva uses the momentum to regain guard. Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action!
Anderson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Silva dives on top into guard. Anderson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anderson controlling Silva's posture. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Anderson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Silva rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Anderson's guard! Nice work there by Silva! Ryan Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Anderson is looking to stand up but Silva isn't so interested in that idea. Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Anderson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Silva quickly recovers to half guard. Silva trying to hold on to Anderson's head to control him but Anderson postures up.

He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Silva looking to sweep here. No luck so far. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Anderson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Anderson wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy. Silva manages to work his way to half guard, despite Anderson's best efforts. Anderson is trying to control. Silva wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Silva looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Silva is not content to let Anderson control the position. Mason Anderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Anderson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anderson is trying to control the action in half guard but Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Mason Anderson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Anderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Flea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kromer scores with a nice head shot. misses the shot to the body. Kromer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kromer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

 It looks like Jerome Carter has been cut. Bearinstein throws a right hand that Carter ducks under and follows up with a left that Carter also avoids with ease. Bearinstein dodges the punch combination from Carter.

Bearinstein escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bearinstein throws a quick inside leg kick. Nice body punch from Bearinstein. Carter is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Carter fails to land with a series of punches.
Bearinstein getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Carter throws a series of punches but Bearinstein avoids them all with ease. That kick from Bearinstein tenderised Carter's leg. Carter is trying to keep his angry face on. Carter doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bearinstein misses with a wild combination.
Carter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Jerome Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bearinstein batters Carter with a massive right followed by a huge left! Carter is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Bearinstein lands a final crushing right hand to drop Carter to the mat with a gruesome thud! Bearinstein is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Bookem looks to land a right hand but D moved out of range. D throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Bookem tries to score with a low kick but D moves his leg out of the way. Jones prevents Alves from breaking the clinch. Jones digs a right hand underneath Alves's ribcage. Alves let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Alves throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brawl Leer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Fraser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brawl Leer had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Leer. Beautiful body shot. Leer misses with a double jab.
Leer misses with a wild body shot. Fraser throws an overhand right that lands on Leer's shoulder, as Leer tries to avoid the shot. Leer stuffs the takedown. Leer thows a body shot but no joy. Jab, jab by Fraser - just one landing. Fraser swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fraser instigates a clinch.
Fraser breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Leer throws a combination. Fraser tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Fraser throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Leer scores with a three punch combo!
 It looks like Tim Fraser has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fraser moves out of range as Leer strikes. A jab from Fraser does it's job there.

Fraser shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Leer sprawls well. Leer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fraser gets slowly back to his feet. Leer throws a nice looking combination but Fraser bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Leer looks to throw the jab but Fraser is out of range. Nice body punch from Leer.
Fraser manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Leer on his heels. He'll look to pass Leer's guard now, I'm sure. Fraser is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Fraser looking to pass the guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fraser throwing strikes from guard but Leer blocks nicely. Fraser content to stall in guard here. It looks like Fraser might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

 The ref stands the fighters back up. Tim Fraser was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Fraser closes the distance and clinches. Leer tries to circle away but Fraser has him pinned against the cage.
Fraser's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brawl Leer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Leer leaves Fraser with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Brawl Leer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Fraser.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Fraser catches Leer with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Leer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fraser connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Leer scrambles back to his feet. Leer misses the body punch and Fraser counters with a nice body shot.

Fraser on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fraser fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Leer scores with a hook. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
