The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funakoshi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Parker counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Parker attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Gichin Funakoshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Gichin Funakoshi has been cut.
Parker pounces like a tiger and cracks Funakoshi with a vicious hook! Funakoshi is down but not out! Parker follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
