House swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hayashida throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hayashida looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hayashida tries to score with a low kick but House moves his leg out of the way. House pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hayashida back to the cage. House follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Do moves out of range of the strikes. Do lands a nice hook to Silva's body. Silva takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Marcus Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Do fails with a takedown attempt. Silva has managed to clinch.

Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Silva uses from the top position. Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Do is controlling Silva's posture. Do has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Do working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Silva.

Do ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Do no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Silva trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Do had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Silva defends it easily. Do is looking for a triangle here but Silva uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Pohjanala throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Vasilevsky throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Vasilevsky looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pohjanala! Pohjanala is wriggling around trying to escape.

Harrison anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Garcia and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Harrison slips an arm under Garcia chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Harrison has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Harrison is squeezing on Garcia like an anaconda would it's prey. Garcia fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferguson throws a right and a left that Jaw avoids nicely. Ferguson throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Ferguson gets a clinch. Ferguson tries to work over Jaw's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Ferguson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Jaw tries to land a front kick but Ferguson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Ferguson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jaw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jaw throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferguson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ferguson darts in and clinches Jaw up against the cage. Jaw avoiding damage as Ferguson throws knees to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Jaw for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Turd Ferguson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ferguson misses with a low kick as Jaw jumps back. Ferguson takes a swing at Jaw's ribcage but misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ferguson just misses with a punch to the body.

Ferguson is still on wobbly legs! Can Jaw finish him? Jaw steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Ferguson is out on his feet! Jaw sets himself and nearly takes Ferguson's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Carter shoots in looking for a takedown but Anderson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Carter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Carter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Anderson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Anderson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Carter's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Anderson is looking for a sweep. Carter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Anderson is positioning himself well to prevent Carter advancing to mount. Anderson tries to get to full guard but Carter has control of the leg. Carter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Anderson is just riding it out for now. Carter eventually gives up the hold. Anderson lands a couple of sideways elbows. Carter prevents Anderson from improving his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Frank Anderson. Carter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Anderson avoids it really well and circles away. Frank Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Carter. Anderson gets the takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson looks up at the clock and then as Carter takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Anderson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Anderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carter keeps working. Carter managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Anderson.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Anderson working the ground and pound. Carter looks gassed! Anderson lands a few punches from side control.
It looks like Rick Carter has been cut. Anderson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Carter sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson tries to score with some ground and pound. Carter controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Anderson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Carter to see if he's OK.
Carter is rocked! Anderson lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Carter! Anderson senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Carter out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
