2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Krasilin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jay Melanko! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krasilin walks straight into a right hand from Melanko - that's dropped him! Melanko jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Krasilin from any more punishment! Krasilin complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josh Torres! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres keeps the fight on the outside. Jarlievski tries a head kick but it misses.
Torres keeps the fight on the outside. Jarlievski is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jarlievski moves in looking to clinch but Torres pushes him off. Jarlievski throws a sloppy head kick and Torres moves out of range easily. Jarlievski tries to close the distance and clinch but Torres swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jarlievski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Torres circles away quickly and effectively. Jarlievski tries a head kick but it misses.
Jarlievski lands a head kick. Torres smiles back at him and beckons him forward. A nice combination there by Jarlievski.
Torres tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jarlievski swivels and escapes. A head kick misses from Jarlievski. A head kick misses from Jarlievski. Torres blocks a head kick by Jarlievski.
Jarlievski tries to clinch up. Torres gets a double leg takedown into Jarlievski's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Torres wants to control from the top but Jarlievski keeps moving. Jarlievski can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Torres controls the pace. Let's hope that Torres has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Josh Torres wasn't active enough on the ground. Jarlievski tries a head kick but it misses.
Torres dives in and scores a takedown into Jarlievski's guard. Torres postures up in Jarlievski's guard and throws a big left but Jarlievski blocks it. Torres wants to control from the top but Jarlievski keeps moving. Jarlievski can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Torres controls the pace. Jarlievski can't keep his opponent in guard - Torres advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Torres prevents Jarlievski from standing back up.
Jarlievski is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torres is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Torres connects with a nice short shot to Jarlievski's temple. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Torres takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Torres controlling the action here. Torres moves nicely into side control. Torres moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jarlievski tries to bench press Torres off him but Torres keeps the position. Jarlievski wants to get back to his feet. Torres works to advance to full mount. Jarlievski defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Torres controlling from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Torres working the ground and pound effectively.
Torres controlling the pace for now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee warns Jarlievski that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Torres dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jarlievski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Torres. Jarlievski misses with a head kick.
Jarlievski throws a nice inside leg kick. Torres avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jarlievski misses with an uppercut. Torres saw that one coming. Torres looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jarlievski is fending him off so far but Torres persists. Nope, Jarlievski circles away and we're back to standing. Jarlievski throws a head kick but Torres moves out of range.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Torres. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Torres fails with a takedown attempt. Boki Jarlievski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Torres. A chopping leg kick lands by Jarlievski. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jarlievski.

Torres gets a takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Torres seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jarlievski looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Torres controlling the action here. Torres trying to control the action but Jarlievski is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Josh Torres was stalling too much, according to the referee. Jarlievski slaps away a takedown attempt from Torres, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jarlievski is looking to clinch but Torres is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jarlievski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jarlievski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Torres will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Torres avoids the head kick by Jarlievski.

He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Torres scoring with some ground and pound. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Josh Torres has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Torres changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jarlievski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Torres is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jarlievski will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Jarlievski is working to avoid the ground and pound but Torres connects with a decent elbow. Torres lands a decent elbow from side control. Jarlievski is being controlled here. Jarlievski is not content to let Torres control the position. Jarlievski taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Torres advances to full mount. Torres with shots to the head and body - Jarlievski looks very uncomfortable down there. Torres controlling the pace for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Torres showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Torres showed some decent athleticism there. Torres is thwarting Jarlievski's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torres looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Torres throwing shots but Jarlievski is blocking nicely. Well, if Torres is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Torres seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jarlievski does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Josh Torres was stalling too much, according to the referee. Torres shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jarlievski as he jumps to the side. Torres slips a jab and a cross from Jarlievski.
Torres drives through with a takedown into guard. Jarlievski can't keep his opponent in guard - Torres advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Josh Torres has got the better of the ground game so far. Torres works his way into full mount! Torres controlling the pace for now. Josh Torres is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Torres has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
