3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kasim Gaziev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sam The Furious! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Furious is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gaziev sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from The Furious. The Furious changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gaziev tries to avoid it but The Furious manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gaziev to the ground. Gaziev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kasim Gaziev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam The Furious. The Furious doesn't succeed with the takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. The Furious fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gaziev sprawls well initially but The Furious persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gaziev is looking to control The Furious's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gaziev avoid being mounted? The Furious is controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gaziev wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gaziev tries to close the distance and clinch up but The Furious swats him away and circles back towards the center. The Furious shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Gaziev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Gaziev buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Gaziev. A telegraphed takedown attempt from The Furious is defended easily by Gaziev. The Furious throws a lazy uppercut
and Gaziev counters with a straight right hand. Gaziev scores with a decent looking hook. The Furious gets the takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Furious trying to control the action but Gaziev is working from the bottom. Gaziev is trying to improve his position. The Furious trying to control the position but Gaziev is working away. The Furious might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gaziev kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Furious in side control, just content to control the action for now. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Gaziev is not content to let The Furious control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Sam The Furious hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. The Furious drives through with a takedown into Gaziev's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gaziev enables The Furious to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gaziev manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Gaziev is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The Furious sitting in guard, not really doing much. The Furious trying to control but Gaziev is working from the bottom.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kasim Gaziev. The Furious takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Gaziev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The Furious looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Sam The Furious has got the better of the ground game so far. The Furious moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gaziev content to stall in guard here. Gaziev sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed The Furious's guard. The Furious tries to get to full guard but Gaziev has control of the leg. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The Furious is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gaziev pulls his head out easily. The Furious is not content to let Gaziev control the position. The Furious is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gaziev's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gaziev's back! Gaziev looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gaziev rolls, trying to escape but The Furious keeps control of the position.
What can Gaziev do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Gaziev looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Gaziev is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kasim Gaziev will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
The Furious misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sam The Furious is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gaziev throws a head kick that The Furious semi-blocks.
Gaziev is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Gaziev scores with a head kick. The Furious tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. The Furious rushes Gaziev and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gaziev wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

and Gaziev counters with a low kick, right behind The Furious 's knee.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Furious closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gaziev circles away. Gaziev gets caught napping as The Furious dives in and scores a takedown. Gaziev manages to retain guard. The Furious trying to control the position from guard on top but Gaziev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gaziev working a defensive guard here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Linhares swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Watson misses with a takedown attempt - Linhares sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Watson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Linhares paws at him with a jab and circles away. Linhares scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Watson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Linhares moves into range and clinches up with Watson. Linhares missing with knees to the body.
Linhares has Watson pushed against the cage. Watson jumps guard but Linhares turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Toni Linhares has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Watson. Linhares works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Watson working for a triangle but Linhares defends it easily.

Watson keeping full guard, as Linhares tries to pass. Linhares stands up over Watson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Watson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Linhares stacks Watson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Linhares! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Linhares wants to lay and pray for a moment but Watson keeps working. Linhares postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Linhares tries to stand but Watson controls the position and pulls Linhares into his guard. Watson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Linhares doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Watson is tightening it up a little... Linhares has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Linhares reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Linhares taps out! Nice BJJ there by Watson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch lands to the side of Tampio 's head but he takes it in his stride. Voll drops Tampio with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tampio looks back up at him and smiles so Voll waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Keijo Tampio has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Excellent takedown into side control there by Tampio. Voll is letting Tampio control him for a moment. Tampio looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Tampio is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Voll knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Tampio tries to move into full mount but can't pass Voll's legs. Voll knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tampio on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tampio is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Voll is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Tampio is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Voll knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Tampio is trying to get an arm triangle but Voll is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Voll is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tampio is controlling him well. Tampio tries to advance to mount but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tampio passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Voll! Tampio controlling from mount. Tampio tries to control but Voll wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tampio jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Voll manages to avoid the submission attempt. Tampio takes a little break here. Voll wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Tampio wants to take a breather but Voll manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Tampio.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tampio looking to pass the guard. Voll is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tampio trying to control but Voll is working from the bottom. Langhi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tinsley tries to avoid it but Langhi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tinsley to the ground. Tinsley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tinsley takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Langhi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Langhi throws a sloppy head kick and Tinsley moves out of range easily. Tinsley moves out of range of the body kick from Langhi.

Langhi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tinsley is fending him off so far but Langhi persists. Nope, Tinsley circles away and we're back to standing. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muromets slips under a jab from Lahti. Lahti just misses with a punch to the body.
Lahti stuffs the takedown attempt from Muromets. Muromets gets slowly back to his feet. A bone on bone clash there as Lahti blocks the leg kick.
Lahti moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Lahti lands a nice shot to the body.

It looks like ILja Muromets has been cut. Lahti defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Muromets. Muromets closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lahti's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Lahti is adopting a defensive guard. Muromets trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Muromets looking to sit in guard and control but Lahti gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Muromets throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lahti uses it to pass to side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lahti decides to stand back up. Lahti steps back and let's Muromets get back to his feet. Muromets keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Muromets takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Lahti lands a nice shot that snaps Muromets's head back.
A jab from Lahti does it's job there. Muromets tries for a takedown but Lahti circles away easily and Lahti makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Muromets takes a body punch but keeps moving. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A slow jab from Lahti misses its intended target. Lahti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Muromets manages to avoid it. Lahti lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Muromets at a distance.
Muromets shoots in for a double leg but Lahti sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Muromets takes one to the side of the head.
Muromets is breathing heavily. Good exchange - Lahti coming out on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muromets takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Muromets fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lahti avoids it really well and circles away. Waltteri Lahti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of ILja Muromets. Muromets misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lahti swings for the body but Muromets moves out of range.

Waltteri Lahti is winning the standup battle so far. Lahti moves into range and connects with a jab. Lahti lands with a big right hook that stumbles Muromets - he's out on his feet here! Lahti follows up with another monster hook that separates Muromets from consciousness! Muromets falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Lahti stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
