James doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

James throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Sullivan counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sullivan lands with a cross.
James scores with a jab. Sullivan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
James throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
James misses with a wild combination.
Sullivan lands a really nice looking cross but James seems unphased.

James throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Sullivan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

James is rocked!
Sullivan cracks James with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends James tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sullivan pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! James is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Featherstone looks to score with a jab to the body but Phenom is just out of range.
Featherstone paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Phenom displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Featherstone.
Featherstone connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Phenom momentarily.
Featherstone throws an overhand right that lands on Phenom's shoulder, as Phenom tries to avoid the shot.

You can see the frustration on Heikki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Angle throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Heikki works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Angle dives in and grabs Heikki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Heikki pushes down on Angle's head and hops out.

Heikki drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Angle dives on top into guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Helppo Heikki.
Angle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Heikki as he jumps to the side.
Helppo Heikki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barack Angle.

Angle throws a series of punches but Heikki avoids them all with ease.
Angle misses with a takedown attempt - Heikki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Heikki scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Heikki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Angle tries to avoid it but Heikki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Angle to the ground. Angle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Angle closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Heikki's guard.
Heikki wants to stand but Angle is controlling the position.
Heikki avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Angle is in close to Heikki's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Heikki wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Angle manages to pass to side control.
Heikki has a hand on Angle's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Angle takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Angle is landing with some decent strikes but Heikki is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

It looks like Helppo Heikki has been cut.

Heikki tries to lock up and control but Angle gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Angle lands a big elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Heikki is trying to stand up.
Heikki is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Angle landing strikes, looking to finish!

Helppo Heikki's cut is getting worse.
Angle has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Heikki's face.

Angle throws some wild stikes that Heikki manages to avoid easily.
Heikki tries to hold on but Angle postures up.
Angle lands with some strikes.

Jeez, Helppo Heikki's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Helppo Heikki's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
