The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dawid shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fire napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dawid creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Fire sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Dawid wants to stand but Fire is controlling his arm.
Fire is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dawid off and has taken his back!
Fire is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Fire is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Dawid with him. Dawid is trying to defend but Fire has an arm under the chin now! Dawid grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Secam dives in and grabs Gunner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gunner pushes down on Secam's head and hops out.
Gunner connects with a leg kick. Secam looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gunner throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Secam fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gunner enables Secam to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gunner manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smirnoff paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The fighters circle momentarily. Smirnoff darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Smirnoff connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Leonitis momentarily.
Smirnoff throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Leonitis.
No joy there for Smirnoff, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smirnoff throws a head kick but Leonitis moves out of range.
Smirnoff stalks Leonitis and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Leonitis's face. Leonitis staggers backwards, shaken.
Leonitis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Smirnoff throws a combination. Leonitis tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kukushkin feints a jab promting Figu to slip. Kukushkin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Figu slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kukushkin lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Figu goes down and covers up as Kukushkin starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
