Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grant Crouch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Afa Phatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crouch's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Headstrong. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Afa Phatu was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phatu misses with a takedown
and Crouch counters with a series of strikes. Phatu will be more careful next time no doubt.
Crouch avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Crouch looks to land a body kick but Phatu moved away.

Phatu shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Crouch manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Phatu wants to control from the top but Crouch keeps moving.

That was a close round but I would say that Brett Yelton will probably get the nod.
