The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okano looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Okano takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ericson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Okano has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ericson. Jab from Ericson. Okano sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Ericson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Okano. Okano attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Okano throws a leg kick that is checked and Ericson counters with a thumping low kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ericson checks a leg kick. Koji Okano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ericson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ericson misses with a wild body shot. Ericson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Okano manages to avoid it. Ericson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Okano showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ericson.

Ericson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Okano throws a head kick that misses. Ericson is looking to land body kicks. Ericson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Okano. Okano moves into the clinch successfully.

Ericson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Okano jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Okano lands with a kick to the temple. Ericson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Ericson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Okano. Okano slips under a jab. Okano misses with a head kick.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ericson looks to land a left hand but Okano moved out of range nicely. Nice body punch from Ericson. Ericson avoids a punch combination nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Koji Okano will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Okano throws a shot from downtown. Ericson moves away and avoids it. Okano seems to have got his legs back now. Ericson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Okano fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ericson. Okano tries to land a body kick and Ericson counters with a nice uppercut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ericson scrambles back to his feet. Ericson checks a leg kick nicely. Okano bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ericson's head backwards. Okano looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Ericson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Okano moves away. Ericson misses with a hook. Okano ducked under it nicely. Ericson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Okano momentarily.

Okano uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ericson. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Okano lands with an overhand left. Okano tries to clinch up. Okano checks the leg kick. Okano throws a low kick, looking for Ericson's leg but Ericson calmly moves out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Leif Ericson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ericson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vronsky pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vronsky is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Vronsky takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Wilson has hold of Vronsky's hands but Vronsky slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Wilson is not content to let Vronsky control the position. Wilson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Vronsky's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Vronsky's back! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wilson struggling to land strikes to the head as Vronsky covers up.

Wilson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Vronsky. Wilson tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Vronsky has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Wilson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Wilson is in a horrible position here. Vronsky smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Juggernaut lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
