Blow looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Slice throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Blow tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Slice is in Blow's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Slice prevents Blow from getting back to his feet. Slice pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blow is keeping the position for now. Blow keeping moving, preventing Slice from controlling successfully.
Slice has gone for a leg lock! Blow slips out almost immediately though and dives into Slice's guard.
Slice throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slice looking to control.
Slice had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Blow defends it easily.

Slice is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Slice looking for a guillotine here but Blow defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slice has his foot on Blow's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Blow works his way back into a safe position though. Blow throwing strikes but missing.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rod Melendez! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

Melendez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Will looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Melendez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Will keeps working. Will struggling a bit here. Melendez misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Melendez tries to advance to mount but Will instead regains half guard. Will keeping control of the position.

Melendez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Will is just riding it out for now. Melendez eventually gives up the hold. Melendez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Will does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Will really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Melendez throwing shots but Will is blocking nicely. Will is trying is best to control the position here.
Melendez stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Will to get to his feet.

Melendez gets a double leg takedown into Will's guard. Melendez pushes down on Will's leg and manages to get into half guard. Will is trying to maintain the position but Melendez is very close to passing his half guard. Will on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Melendez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Will trying to hold on to Melendez's head to control him but Melendez postures up.

Will takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Melendez throws an elbow that misses. Will uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Melendez's guard. Nice move by Will! Melendez wants to improve his position but instead Will has moved into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Will is looking to take a break and control but Melendez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rod Melendez dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Nice takedown defense from Melendez. No joy for Will on that attempt. Will misses with a takedown attempt
and Melendez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Will's guard. Melendez postures up in Will's guard and throws a big left but Will blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Melendez is looking to work some ground and pound but Will has wrist control. Will is trying to keep Melendez in close.

Melendez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Melendez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rod Melendez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Melendez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Will takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Will takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Will shoots in for a takedown but Melendez shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brad Will. That's going to take a lot out of him. Melendez connects with a body shot. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Melendez throws a series of punches but Will avoids them all with ease. Melendez lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Will misses with a takedown and Will takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Melendez scores a takedown into full mount! Melendez throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Bolok working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baron doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baron manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Baron sitting in guard, not really doing much. Baron must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Baron stands up from Bolok's guard - Baron perhaps looking for a knockout. Bolok tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Baron manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bolok manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bolok throws a combination that misses
so Baron counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Baron trying to control but Bolok is working from the bottom. Baron sitting in guard here, content to control. Baron throwing strikes but missing.
Bolok looking for a guillotine here but Baron defends easily.
Bolok could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bolok controls Baron momentarily but Baron frees himself.

Baron throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bolok was covering up waiting for the punch and Baron finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bolok wants to get back to his feet but Baron is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bolok closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Baron's guard. Baron throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Bolok got a little sloppy there for a moment and Baron has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bolok has managed to get both his arms back between Baron's legs - danger averted. Baron tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Baron slips a jab from Bolok. Bolok blocks a head kick by Baron.
Baron tests Bolok's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bolok lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Baron backs up against the cage.
Bolok stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bolok wants it to stay on the feet. Hagar Bolok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Baron. Bolok throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

so Baron counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bolok wants to get back to his feet but Baron is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Baron avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Bolok swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Baron counters with a three punch combo that has Bolok backing up. Bolok nods at Baron to acknowledge the strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bolok throws a nice looking combination but Baron bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bolok throws a series of punches but Baron avoids them all with ease. Bolok looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bolok looks to land a combination. Baron sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Baron has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Baron controlling the position easily from mount. Bolok is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Oh Bolok is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Baron goes for a takedown attempt but Bolok pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Bolok seems to have got his legs back now.

Bolok gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bolok throws a nice looking combination but Baron bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Nice sprawl there from Baron as Bolok shoots in. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Baron. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Baron showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Hagar Bolok's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bolok is trying to break free. Baron prevents a body shot from Bolok. Bolok is trying to force a seperation but Baron has the dominant position.
Bolok pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Baron changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bolok tries to avoid it but Baron manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bolok to the ground. Bolok escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bolok misses the jab. Bolok takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Bolok wants to get back to striking at distance but Baron won't allow it.

Baron decides to take the fight back to the feet. Baron moves out of range of the leg kick from Bolok. Bolok wants to land a leg kick but Baron is out of range. Baron avoids a punch combination nicely.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bolok throws a left and a right that both miss
and Baron counters with a one-two to the body. Baron throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bolok's waist but Bolok gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baron off to one side. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Baron avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Baron shoots in but Bolok avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hagar Bolok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Baron. Baron throws out a powerful jab. Bolok misses with a looping left. Bolok scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Baron. Baron happy to just control the position for now. Let's hope that Baron has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Bolok is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Baron has just dragged him back down to the mat. Baron wants to control but Bolok is keeping him busy.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Baron decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Hagar Bolok has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Robert Baron is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bolok fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that's the end of the fight! Robert Baron comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Baron winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Simpson manages to pull guard.
Nolam stands up over Simpson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nolam lands a couple of digs. Nolam stopping the sweep attempt from Simpson. Nolam trying to stand up but can't free himself from Simpson's guard.
Simpson has his foot on Nolam's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nolam works his way back into a safe position though.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nolam keeping moving, preventing Simpson from controlling successfully. Simpson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nolam is keeping the position for now. Simpson is working hard here to advance position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nolam can do anything to dispel that myth. Simpson is looking to take a break and control but Nolam is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Simpson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Nolam tries to escape but Simpson is in control. Simpson wants to control but Nolam is keeping him busy.

Simpson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nolam keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nolam prevents Simpson from moving into mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Simpson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A jab from Simpson does it's job there. Nolam moves in looking to clinch but Simpson pushes him off.
Nolam forces Simpson back against the cage and clinches.
Nolam is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Simpson can't fight it off and eventually Nolam manages to take the fight to the floor. Simpson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Simpson is trying to hold Nolam in close to prevent damage but Nolam has managed to pass into half guard.
Nolam winds up and cracks Simpson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Simpson is pressing down on Nolam's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Nolam is looking to work some ground and pound but Simpson has wrist control. Simpson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Simpson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nolam stands up over Simpson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nolam must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Steve Simpson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Simpson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nolam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Simpson working a defensive guard here.
Nolam postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Nolam trying to control the position from guard on top but Simpson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nolam fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Simpson loads up on a big right hand but Nolam slips the punch. Nolam jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Simpson shoots in and gets a takedown into Nolam's guard. Simpson tries to free his leg and advance position but Nolam is retaining full guard. Simpson wants to control from the top but Nolam keeps moving.

Araujo is trying to push O Leary away but O Leary has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Araujo is trying to force a seperation but O Leary has the dominant position.
Araujo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Araujo jabbing away but nothing is landing. Araujo throws a head kick that misses. O Leary throws a leg kick but Araujo moved away. A jab from O Leary does it's job there. O Leary looks to land a left hand but Araujo moved out of range nicely. A big right from O Leary misses. O Leary misses with an uppercut. Araujo saw that one coming. O Leary steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Araujo. O Leary fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Araujo. Nice body kick there by Araujo.

Araujo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Nice shot by O Leary.

Araujo throws the kick towards the body but O Leary avoids it. Araujo's corner calls for a 1-2. Araujo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Araujo connects with an inside leg kick. O Leary is looking to clinch but Araujo is avoiding it.

O Leary will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Araujo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
O Leary has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Araujo. Araujo throws a series of punches but O Leary avoids them all with ease. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! O Leary looks to land a left hand but Araujo moved out of range nicely. Araujo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Araujo throws a half hearted mid kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rickson Araujo will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Rickson Araujo is winning the standup battle so far. O Leary ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Araujo moves away. O Leary throws a nice looking combination but Araujo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Araujo blocks a jab. O Leary throws an off balance right hand
and Araujo counters with a leg kick. O Leary rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Araujo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. O Leary throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Araujo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. O Leary walks into a jab. Araujo throws a right and a left that O Leary avoids nicely. Araujo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. O Leary throws a series of punches but Araujo moves out of range. O Leary is breathing heavily.

Araujo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Araujo throws a solid leg kick but O Leary takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Araujo. Araujo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Araujo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
O Leary moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. O Leary misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

O Leary scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Good standup being displayed there by Araujo as he connects with a hook. Araujo lands with an overhand left. Araujo throws a nice outside leg kick. O Leary lands with an uppercut that bounces Araujo off the cage and back into range. Araujo looks to land a left hand but O Leary moved out of range nicely. Araujo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

O Leary throws a looping overhand right but Araujo ducks down to avoid it. O Leary shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Araujo defends it nicely. Rickson Araujo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William O Leary. Araujo tries to score with a low kick but O Leary moves his leg out of the way.

A close second round but William O Leary will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

O Leary tries to close the distance and clinch up but Araujo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bitonti has control of Manhoef's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Manhoef regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bitonti. Melvin Manhoef is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
