Tyson Lee's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Lee is trying desperately to land a takedown but Duddy is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Lee.

In his post fight interview, John Duddy started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Bang!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bang there as he acknowledges the shot.
Malek throws a jab when Bang was well out of range.
Bang misses with a hook. Malek ducked under it nicely.
Malek bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bang throws a head kick but Malek moves out of range.
Bang fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Malek on the side of the head.
Bang scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Malek throws a nice inside leg kick.
Bang missing with a left hand there. Malek was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bang scores with a sloppy right hand. Malek should have avoided that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bang crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Malek - the referee stops the clock and Bang gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Malek. Bang manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Malek uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bang.
Malek fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Malek moves into range and connects with a jab.
Malek chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bang looks gassed!

Malek lands a big uppercut and Bang crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bang looks OK. Malek waves Bang back to his feet!

Bang is rocked!
A thudding body kick lands there by Malek!
Bang is still on wobbly legs! Can Malek finish him?
Malek scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bang has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Malek.
Malek cracks Bang's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Bang slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Malek can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jai Malek!

Jai Malek spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
