The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lokopoko misses with a looping left. Dog stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dog wants it to stay on the feet. Snoop Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dog tries to close the distance and clinch but Lokopoko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dog darts in trying to clinch and Lokopoko counters with a nice body shot. Lokopoko fails with the takedown. Dog looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Lokopoko has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Dog doesn't defend quickly enough and Lokopoko has managed to lock this one up! Can Dog escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lokopoko on a fantastic submission victory.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jam is trying to control the position but Hamrock postures up. Jam being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jam keeping moving, preventing Hamrock from controlling successfully.

Jam tries to clinch but Hamrock is having none of it. Hamrock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jam moves away. Jam darts in trying to clinch and Hamrock counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Hamrock misses with a head shot. Jam uses the momentum to regain guard. Hamrock pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jam is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hamrock looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ken Hamrock is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Hamrock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hamrock is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hamrock controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hamrock throws a big elbow that misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Ken Hamrock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hamrock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evurts throws a hook to the side of Malatesta's head but Malatesta sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Evurts throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Duce Malatesta has been cut. Malatesta fails to land with a series of punches.

Evurts tries to clinch but Malatesta moves out of range. Evurts throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Evurts scores with a one two! Malatesta had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. This time Malatesta falls down and Evurts dives in with a huge hammer fist! Malatesta's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Evurts runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Duck walks into a stiff left hand from Liddell.
It looks like Peking Duck has been cut. Duck fails with the takedown. Liddell misses with a series of wild punches.

Liddell jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Liddell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Duck fails with a takedown attempt. Duck closes the distance and clinches up with Liddell, looking for a takedown. Duck pushes Liddell against the cage but Liddell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peking Duck. That's going to take a lot out of him. Liddell looks to land a left hand but Duck moved out of range nicely. Duck lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Iceman Liddell has been cut. Duck wants to clinch up but Liddell keeps it at a distance. Liddell misses with the combination.
Duck on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Duck displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Liddell throws out the jab. Nice sprawl there from Liddell as Duck shoots in. Duck shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Liddell defends it nicely. Duck shoots in looking for a takedown but Liddell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Duck's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Duck is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell stuffs the takedown attempt from Duck. Duck gets slowly back to his feet. Duck tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Liddell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Liddell lands a slapping body shot.
Duck takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Duck shoots for a double leg takedown but Liddell sprawls well. He's pushed Duck's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Liddell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Peking Duck's cut is getting worse. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Liddell cracks Duck with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Duck looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Liddell finish him?
Duck is rocked! Liddell cracks Duck's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Duck slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Liddell can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Iceman Liddell! Iceman Liddell bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
