4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Begood! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Begood looks to throw the jab but Rogers is out of range. Begood missing with a left hand there. Rogers was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Rogers shoots in for a takedown but Begood shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Begood throws a hook to the side of Rogers's head but Rogers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Begood throws a looping overhand right but Rogers ducks down to avoid it. Begood moves into range and connects with a jab. Rogers scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Begood is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Rogers in side control, throwing shots but Begood defends. Rogers working the ground and pound from side control. Rogers tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Begood is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rogers off and has taken his back! Rogers has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Begood. Begood throwing wild punches that miss their target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogers grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Begood wants to control but Rogers is keeping busy. Begood lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Begood scores with punches to the body. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rogers is trying to shake Begood off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Begood won't be happy about giving up the dominant position. An inside leg kick from Begood misses. Nice takedown defense from Begood. No joy for Rogers on that attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Begood looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Begood leaves Rogers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Rogers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rogers is breathing heavily.

Nope, Begood circles away and we're back to standing. Rogers fails with a takedown attempt. Johnny Begood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Begood connects with a right hand. Rogers shakes it off. Begood throws a quick head kick that knocks Rogers silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Begood is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Russell gets a takedown into half guard. Russell sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. White defending well though. Russell is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Russell thows a huge punch but White dodges it nicely.
White really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Russell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Russell throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White gets back to full guard.
Russell trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Russell wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position. Russell working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of White's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Russell scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. White landing rabbit punches to the side of Russell's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points. White blocking the ground and pound attempt from Russell. Russell takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Russell landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Russell seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Russell throwing shots but White is blocking nicely. Ground and pound from Russell. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! White is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. White keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Russell missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Russell looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Russell throwing shots but White is blocking nicely. Russell winds up and cracks White with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Russell tries to pass the half guard into mount. White knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Russell lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Russell is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Russell lands strikes from half guard. Russell seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
White is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Russell there. White is still in real trouble! Can Russell finish him? Russell is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
White is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Russell scores with a couple of nice shots. Russell passes the guard and advances to mount! White seems to have recovered his senses. White takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Russell's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter connects with an inside leg kick. Carter jabs Buckle to the body, keeping him at a distance. Buckle rushes Carter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Carter scores with a shoulder strike. Buckle dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Carter has had enough of the clinch but Buckle keeps him there for the moment. Carter can't find room to land a body shot as Buckle controls the action.
Buckle wants to get back to striking at distance but Carter won't allow it.
Buckle tries to pull guard but Carter holds him up against the cage and eventually Buckle drops back down to his feet.
Carter manages to break the clinch.
Buckle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Carter clinches up against the cage. Carter tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Buckle smiles and moves away.
Carter throws a front kick that sends Buckle stumbling back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Carter looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Buckle throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Carter tries to land a leg kick but Buckle saw it coming and moves away.
Nice shot lands for Carter. Carter keeps the fight on the outside. Carter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Carter showed some decent athleticism there. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Buckle is looking for a sweep. Carter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buckle trying to hold on to Carter's head to control him but Carter postures up.
Carter is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Carter is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Buckle says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Carter thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Carter is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Buckle defends it well. Carter with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Buckle is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Carter takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Carter working Buckle over with strikes. Carter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Carter passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Buckle! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Carter is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Buckle can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Buckle pushes down on Carter's head and hops out. Horace Buckle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Desmond Carter. A solid body kick from Carter. Carter scores with a jab. Carter jabbing away but nothing is landing. Carter moves into the clinch successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Carter throws out the jab but it was never going to land. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Buckle checks a leg kick. Buckle ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Horace Buckle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Buckle tries for a takedown but Carter circles away easily and Carter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Carter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carter stops Buckle from standing up. Buckle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Buckle trying to control the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carter throws a big elbow that misses. Carter content to stall in guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Carter working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carter. A momentary lapse in concentration from Buckle enables Carter to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Buckle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Buckle trying to keep a closed guard but Carter is proving a slippery customer.
Carter is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Desmond Carter hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Buckle defending well as Carter loads up on a big left hand. Buckle displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Carter throws out the jab. Buckle swinging wildly here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carter tries for a takedown but Buckle sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Carter misses with a body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tamlin thuds his right hand into Frank's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Tamlin avoids the head kick by Frank.
Tamlin lunges at Frank with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Frank's hand. Tamlin shoots in looking for a takedown. Frank tries to sprawl out of it but Tamlin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Frank manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Frank throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nogueira swats away the attempt to clinch by Parker. Nogueira slips under a jab. Nogueira closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
