The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Knoxville.
Knoxville shoots in but no luck this time.
Davies blocks a head kick by Knoxville.
Knoxville fails with a takedown attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Knoxville.
Knoxville changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davies tries to avoid it but Knoxville manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davies to the ground. Davies escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
James Davies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Knoxville.

Spartan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Williams sprawls well. Williams wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Spartan gets slowly back to his feet.

Williams tries to bum rush Spartan with a series of wild strikes but Spartan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Williams throws a lazy right hand but Spartan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Williams throws a hook to the side of Spartan's head but Spartan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Williams just misses with a punch to the body.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Spartan! Williams is out on his feet! Spartan rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Williams is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Williams is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Strongham thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wright if he has to take too many more of those.
Wright tries to bum rush Strongham with a series of wild strikes but Strongham uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wright takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wright has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Strongham.

It looks like Corey Wright has been cut.
Strongham moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wright crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Strongham - the referee stops the clock and Wright gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Strongham. Wright manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Strongham is pushing Wright up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

A very excited looking Tedd Strongham rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
