The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tachibana closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Cardona tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tachibana throwing strikes but Cardona manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Tachibana manages to get back to half guard. Cardona is looking to advance position but Tachibana won't allow it. Cardona tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Tachibana. Tachibana has his hands clasped together around Cardona's back. He's all about the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tachibana pushes Cardona off and gets back to his feet. Cardona tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tachibana paws at him with a jab and circles away. That's two minutes gone in the round. Cardona utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tachibana lands a couple of digs. Tachibana postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cardona really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tachibana. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tachibana with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tachibana wants to control from the top but Cardona keeps moving. Tachibana postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Tachibana landing some decent shots from guard. Tachibana loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Tachibana cracks Cardona with a solid left hand. Cardona swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tachibana is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Tachibana throwing strikes from guard but Cardona blocks nicely. Cardona can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tachibana controls the pace. Tachibana is in close to Cardona's body, working some short punches and elbows. Cardona can't keep his opponent in guard - Tachibana advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Tachibana stops Cardona from getting back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tachibana lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Cardona is still in real trouble! Can Tachibana finish him? Cardona takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Tachibana's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Villamora wants to clinch but Carelli slips to the side and Carelli counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Villamora's guard now. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Carelli passes easily into side control. Nice work. Carelli thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Villamora is looking to reverse the position. Villamora is trying to control Carelli's posture but Carelli avoids it. Carelli tries for a kimura but Villamora is defending well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carelli is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Villamora is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Carelli wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Villamora, who protects the arm well. He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Carelli is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Villamora to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Villamora shrugs it off. Carelli is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Villamora has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Villamora! Villamora really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carelli. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Carelli's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Villamora is holding on here and Carelli must be using up a lot of energy. Villamora has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Carelli gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Edmundo Edilhson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Edilhson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bucket quickly recovers to half guard. Bucket looks like he's trying to stand up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frosty drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Frosty stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Finch swivels though and keeps the full guard. Finch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Frosty doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Frosty manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Finch looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Finch has instead reached around Frosty's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Finch arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Diamonds shoots in for a takedown but Renato shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Renato looks to land a right hand but Diamonds moved out of range. Dumpleton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Swoll is staying active underneath Dumpleton, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brock needs to keep his hands up - Pratt had a free shot at his head there. Pratt throws out a loose jab but Brock uses good head movement to avoid it. Brock avoids the body shot from Pratt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brock looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Brock has hold of Pratt's hands but Pratt slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pratt working over Brock with some ground and pound. Brock looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Brock is looking to control Pratt's leg but it's slowly edging free.
