The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nicolosi rushes Dean and presses him up against the cage. Nicolosi lands a damaging elbow. Nicolosi displaying some good clinch control by pressing Dean up against the cage. Nicolosi gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Nicolosi throwing strikes from guard but Dean blocks nicely. Dean controls Nicolosi momentarily but Nicolosi frees himself. Nicolosi is looking to work some ground and pound but Dean has wrist control. Dean escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nicolosi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nicolosi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dean is keeping the position for now. 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Case! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Case is looking to clinch but Kermodian is avoiding it.
Case throws a hook but Kermodian blocks it. Kermodian pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Case ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kermodian moves away. Case throws an overhand right that lands on Kermodian's shoulder, as Kermodian tries to avoid the shot. Kermodian misses with an uppercut. Case saw that one coming. A jab from Case misses. Case avoids a punch combination nicely.
Case avoids the head kick by Kermodian.
Kermodian stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A momentary lapse in concentration from Kermodian enables Case to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kermodian manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Kermodian manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kermodian tries to control but Case wriggling away. Kermodian is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Case is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Kermodian controlling his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kermodian throwing strikes here but Case is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

It looks like Justin Case has been cut. Case tries to reverse the position but Kermodian maintains control. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Case manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kermodian wants to finish this one by submission but Case is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kermodian. Kermodian has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kermodian cracks Case with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That has opened up Justin Case's cut even more. Kermodian lands a big shot there that rocks Case but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Justin Case's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Heer there as he acknowledges the shot. Heer tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gracie looks to land a body kick but Heer moved away. Heer throws the left hand but Gracie avoids the punch easily. Gracie throws a big shot that misses. Heer throws a front kick aimed at Gracie's knee but Gracie avoids it well. Gracie scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Gracie looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Gracie wants to control from the top but Heer keeps moving. Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Heer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Heer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Heston Gracie dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gracie slips a straight right by Heer. Heer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Gracie defending well as Heer loads up on a big left hand. Gracie takes a swing at Heer's ribcage but misses. Heer scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gracie in his tracks. Heer fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Heer misses with an uppercut
and Gracie counters with a left to the body. Good exchange - Gracie coming out on top. Gracie throws a hook but Heer blocks it. Gracie tries a low kick but Heer avoids it. A good leg kick by Heer. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Heer, as that shot connected.
Heer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gracie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Heer moves out of range of the strikes. Gracie moves out of range of the strikes. Heer connects with a right hand. Gracie shakes it off. Gracie tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Heer tries to clinch but Gracie moves out of range. Heer scores with a decent looking hook. Gracie checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. A slow jab from Heer misses its intended target. Heer slips under a jab. Gracie throws a good cross that connects.

Gracie swings around for an armbar but Heer sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard. Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Heer gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Gracie looks to land a left hand but Heer moved out of range nicely. The crowd cheers as Heer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gracie doesn't seem phased though. Heer slips under a jab from Gracie. Sim Heer is winning the standup battle so far. Gracie moves out of range of the leg kick from Heer. Gracie closes the distance and lands a one-two. Heer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gracie's calf. Sim Heer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A swing and a miss from Gracie. Heer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Heer's guard. Gracie trying to move into half guard but instead Heer has managed to sweep! Gracie is pulling down on Heer's head. It's preventing any offense from Heer, at least for the moment. Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Heer looking to sit in guard and control but Gracie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gracie is looking to advance position but Heer has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Heer trying to control but Gracie is having none of it. Heer controlling his opponent. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Heer trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Sim Heer will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Heer counters by moving into the clinch. Gracie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gracie attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Heer misses with a straight left. A big right from Heer misses.

Gracie fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Heer is out of range. Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Heer sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gracie is just content to waste time from the top position. Heer takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Gracie with a flurry of punches that miss. Heer is trying to control the position but Gracie postures up. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Heer is keeping the position. Gracie throws a strike but Heer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Heer showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Gracie has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Heer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gracie. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Heer decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gracie to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big left from Heer misses. Sim Heer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Heer fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice defenses there by Gracie. Gracie throws a leg kick but Heer moved away. Heer loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch. Heer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gracie. Heer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Heer throws a chopping leg kick but Gracie manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Gracie throws a head kick that misses. Heer lands a jab. Heer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie looks to land a right hand but Heer moved out of range. Heer clinches up against the cage. Gracie tries to pull guard but Heer forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Heer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gracie avoids it. Gracie blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Gracie blocks the elbow strike.
Heer misses with an elbow over the top. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Heer just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gracie's brow. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Heer keeps control of Gracie as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Heer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gracie tries to bum rush Heer with a series of wild strikes but Heer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And that's the end of the fight! Sim Heer showed his dominance in that final round. I think Heer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kloss postures up in Wilcox's guard and throws a big left but Wilcox blocks it. Kloss has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stark tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Stark moves into range and connects with a jab. Kurosawa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stark. A big left from Stark misses. Stark lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Akira Kurosawa has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Kurosawa moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. That kick from Kurosawa tenderised Stark's leg. Stark is trying to keep his angry face on. Kurosawa throws a head kick that Stark semi-blocks.

Escobar slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Raiden avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Escobar. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Escobar tries to advance to mount but can't. Escobar is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Raiden has escaped the position, nice work there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rection lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Rection uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ivanov. Rection slips a straight right by Ivanov. Ivanov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A slow jab from Ivanov misses its intended target. Ivanov gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rection keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Rection is looking to take a break and control but Ivanov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ivanov manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Rection is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ivanov is looking to improve his position.

Pox is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Fett lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boba Fett! Boba Fett really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hellbent, Inc.™ logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
