The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nguyen gets a clinch. Nguyen manages to break the clinch.

It looks like Kevin Nguyen has been cut. Nguyen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kamahawe Ole counters with a series of strikes. Nguyen will be more careful next time no doubt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kamahawe Ole closes the distance and clinches. Nguyen pulls guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Nguyen wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kamahawe Ole manages to pass to side control. Kamahawe Ole is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Nguyen misses with a punch to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nguyen has had enough of the clinch but Kamahawe Ole keeps him there for the moment. Nguyen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kamahawe Ole throws a series of punches but Nguyen moves out of range. Nguyen shoots in looking for a takedown. Kamahawe Ole tries to sprawl out of it but Nguyen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kamahawe Ole manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Horrible takedown by Nguyen or perhaps it was just good defense by Kamahawe Ole which made him look bad. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nguyen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kevin Nguyen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nguyen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kamahawe Ole's guard. Nguyen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kamahawe Ole on the ground. Nguyen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Nguyen wants to control from the top but Kamahawe Ole keeps moving. Nguyen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Nguyen won't allow Kamahawe Ole to sweep him here. Kamahawe Ole keeping moving, preventing Nguyen from controlling successfully.
We're going to have a standup here because Kevin Nguyen wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kamahawe Ole fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Kamahawe Ole fails with a takedown attempt. Kamahawe Ole checks a low kick from Nguyen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nguyen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kamahawe Ole shoots for a takedown but Nguyen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kevin Nguyen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kamahawe Ole looks to land a combination. Nguyen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Nguyen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kamahawe Ole to the mat! Kamahawe Ole manages to get full guard. Kevin Nguyen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kamahawe Ole looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nguyen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kamahawe Ole has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nguyen is looking to defend but Kamahawe Ole has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nguyen! Kamahawe Ole pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nguyen taps out and this one is all over!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Gurgel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Royce Gracis had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Fabio Gurgel told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracis manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gurgel on his heels. He'll look to pass Gurgel's guard now, I'm sure. Gracis trying to control the position from guard on top but Gurgel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gurgel looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Gurgel keeping moving, preventing Gracis from controlling successfully. Gurgel is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Gracis frees his head nicely. Oh but Gurgel has switched to an armbar! Gracis is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Ringo connects with a body shot that sends Plant's belly button to the back. Ringo scores with the left hand. Plant knows he should have avoided that one. Plant slips a jab and a cross from Ringo.
Ringo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ringo punishes Plant's body with a nice straight punch. Ringo is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Plant like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Plant from another fist facial!

Ki Lin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ki Lin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Penguin's sensitive parts. Ki Lin thumps Penguin with a low kick. Penguin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitchell scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Foreman has a takedown stuffed. Mitchell throws a jab when Foreman was well out of range. Foreman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mitchell. Mitchell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Foreman tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Mitchell is able to avoid easily. George Foreman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mitchell swings widly with a right hand
and Foreman counters with a lovely straight right hand! This has been an exciting period of action! Foreman misses with a takedown attempt - Mitchell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mitchell swats away the attempt to clinch by Foreman. Steptoe has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kiiveri finds it's way round the side to connect with Steptoe's head. Kiiveri scores with a nice head shot.
