1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Sampyla! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sonny Bill Williams! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Winston Howard.

Sampyla leaves Bill Williams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Sampyla scores with a sloppy right hand. Bill Williams should have avoided that one. Bill Williams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sampyla tries to avoid it but Bill Williams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sampyla to the ground. Sampyla escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sam Sampyla has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sonny Bill Williams. Bill Williams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sampyla as he avoids it easily. Sampyla fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bill Williams avoids it really well and circles away.
Sampyla fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bill Williams, pushing him back against the cage.
Sampyla manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Sampyla keeping moving, preventing Bill Williams from controlling successfully. Bill Williams sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Sampyla sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sampyla tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bill Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sampyla is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sampyla throws a right and a left that both miss.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Sampyla pushes off an throws an elbow but Bill Williams leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Bill Williams is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sampyla is defending well. Bill Williams has Sampyla pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sampyla manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Sampyla lands an elbow inside that Bill Williams shrugs off. Bill Williams stops a takedown attempt from Sampyla.
Sampyla prevents the takedown attempt.
Bill Williams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sampyla walks away with a smile on his face. Bill Williams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Sampyla will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sampyla is breathing heavily. Bill Williams fails with the takedown. Sampyla tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bill Williams swivels and escapes.
Bill Williams takes the fight into the clinch. Bill Williams wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bill Williams is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Sampyla is keeping busy. Bill Williams is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sampyla gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Bill Williams is trying to push Sampyla away but Sampyla has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bill Williams tries to break the clinch but Sampyla is controlling the position. A head punch on the inside from Sampyla fails to land. Sampyla looking to throw knees to the head but Bill Williams is blocking nicely.
Sampyla tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bill Williams just stands there and leans against the cage. Sampyla blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sampyla throws a knee to the head but misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bill Williams tries to pull guard but Sampyla won't allow it.

Bill Williams trying to control the position but instead, Sampyla has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bill Williams into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sam Sampyla will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Sampyla throws a hook but Bill Williams blocks it. Sampyla tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bill Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bill Williams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bill Williams blocks a head kick by Sampyla.
An inside leg kick lands from Bill Williams. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bill Williams. Sampyla stalks Bill Williams and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bill Williams's face. Bill Williams staggers backwards, shaken. Bill Williams is looking to slow Sampyla down with leg kicks. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bill Williams is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sampyla sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sam Sampyla has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sonny Bill Williams.

Sampyla manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bill Williams is defended easily by Sampyla.
Bill Williams gets tackled into the cage by Sampyla. Sampyla maintains the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bill Williams prevents Sampyla from breaking the clinch. Sampyla wants a takedown but no success here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sonny Bill Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Sam Sampyla's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Sampyla crumbles to the ground and Bill Williams follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Bill Williams!

and Rogers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Crump fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rogers sizes up Crump with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Rogers darts in and clinches Crump up against the cage. Crump wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Crump is breathing heavily. A nice combination there by Rogers.

and Rogers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Crump thinking. Rogers digs a good hook to Crump's body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crump moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Rogers fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Rogers throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Rogers jabs at Crump's body. Leonard Crump seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rogers darts in and clinches Crump up against the cage. A right handed body shot lands from Rogers.
A left hand lands to the body for Rogers.
A short right from Rogers. A left hand lands to the body for Rogers.
Rogers lands a body punch in the clinch.

Rogers lands with a good body shot. Crump takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rogers scores with a jab to the jaw. Rogers scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Rogers tests Crump's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Matey shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Saint sprawls well. Saint wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Matey gets slowly back to his feet. Peking Saint seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matey shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Saint regains full guard. Nicely done. Saint lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Matey! Saint can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Matey is looking to escape.

Saint has control of Matey's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Matey regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Matey is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Saint throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Matey is desperately trying to improve his position but Saint has a good base and remains in mount. Matey on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Matey tries to get out of the position.

Matey trying to control the hands but Saint breaks the grip. Matey staying busy and making it hard for Saint to control.

A close round but Peking Saint will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Saint throws a leg kick but Matey moved away. Matey throws a sloppy head kick and Saint moves out of range easily. Saint just misses with a punch to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Saint. Ahoy Matey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Saint checks a leg kick. Saint lands with a thumping leg kick.
Saint with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Saint tries a low kick but Matey avoids it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Saint throws a push kick but Matey slaps the foot to one side. Matey keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Saint scores with a four punch combination! Matey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Saint circles away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Saint scores with a jab to the jaw. Saint looks for the body kick but Matey saw that one coming.

Saint will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Peking Saint is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Saint is looking to land body kicks. Saint scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Matey doesn't seem bothered though. Matey blocks the body kick.
Saint swings for the body but Matey moves out of range.

Saint is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Matey rather than just go for the knockout. Saint scores with a hook to the body. Matey takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Saint scores with a sloppy right hand. Matey should have avoided that one. Matey moves out of range of the body kick. Saint throws a low kick but it's checked well by Matey. Good leg kick by Saint there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Saint tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Matey is able to avoid easily. Saint lands a nice leg kick that just misses Matey's sensitive parts. Saint fakes the leg kick and cracks Matey in the body. Saint lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Saint slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Saint tries to score with a low kick but Matey moves his leg out of the way. Saint's corner calls for a 1-2. Saint obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Saint throws the kick towards the body but Matey avoids it. Saint moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Saint throws a good cross that connects.

Jenkins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hernando walks away with a smile on his face. Jenkins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hernando lands a big head kick that sends Jenkins tumbling to the mat! Hernando takes a step backwards and waves Jenkins back to his feet - he wants the finish!
