A jab from Shields finds it's way through Montoya's defenses.
Montoya with a poor takedown
and Shields connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Montoya shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Montoya throws a right and a left that Shields avoids nicely.
Montoya shoots in looking for a takedown. Shields tries to sprawl out of it but Montoya keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shields manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Shields throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Montoya stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shields lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Michael Shields is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Shields darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Montoya walks into a straight right hand from Shields.

BOOM! Shields lands a beautiful left hook that drops Montoya. Montoya tries to recover but Shields is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Montoya lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Storm is trying to force a seperation but Oddy has the dominant position.
