The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giles bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Giles tries to clinch there but Ueda circles away.
Ueda throws a head kick but Giles moves out of range.
Ueda fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Giles.
Giles connects with a right hand. Ueda shakes it off.

Ueda tries to land knees in the clinch but Giles avoids the damage to the body.

Salabim is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hawkes screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Jones lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ramos up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Jones from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ramos's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
