Smokealot circles away from the clinch attempt
and Smokealot cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Smokealot throws a sloppy head kick and Chan moves out of range easily.

Chan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smokealot swivels and escapes.
Smokealot fails to land with a series of punches.

Smokealot drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Chan is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Smokealot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smokealot throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chan.

No joy there for Smokealot, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sir Smokealot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chan shoots for a takedown but Smokealot saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Chan looks gassed!
Smokealot misses with a few strikes there.
Chan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Smokealot drops Chan with a beautiful combination! Chan stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smokealot is looking for the KO!

Chan is rocked!

It looks like Jin Chan has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smokealot misses with a series of wild punches.
Chan is still on wobbly legs! Can Smokealot finish him?
Smokealot grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Chan takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Smokealot cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Che Che throws a lazy head kick
and Takada counters with an inside leg kick.
Che Che fails with the takedown.
The fight stays on the outside here - Takada looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Che Che shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takada as he avoids it easily.

Che Che bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Che Che is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Takada looks calm but he's in trouble here. Che Che gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Takada is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Che Che lets go of the hold and Takada can pop his arm back in it's socket.

It looks like Dk Mon has been cut.

Messi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Messi throws a series of punches but Mon avoids them all with ease.
Mon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Messi cracks Mon with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Mon tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Messi pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Mon is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Minonzio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gracie throws his legs up looking for a submission but Minonzio uses it to pass to side control.
Gracie is looking for a sweep.
Minonzio cracks Gracie with a big right hand but Gracie just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Minonzio throwing strikes but Gracie manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Minonzio pushes Gracie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gracie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Minonzio, who protects the arm well.
Minonzio prevents Gracie from moving into mount.

Gracie swings around for an armbar but Minonzio sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard.

Gracie working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Minonzio has passed into half guard!

Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Minonzio pulls his head out easily.

Minonzio is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Minonzio thows a huge punch but Gracie dodges it nicely.
Minonzio thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Gracie to regain full guard.
Gracie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Minonzio passes into side control.

Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Minonzio sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Minonzio's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Minonzio.

Gracie jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Minonzio is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Minonzio and Gracie has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Gracie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Minonzio has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gracie but great work by Minonzio.
Gracie can't do much from the bottom here.
Matteo Minonzio overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

He turns his back on Arcade, trying to create some distance but Arcade rushes him, striking wildly and Lakay goes down! The referee tackles Arcade into the cage to end the fight! Arcade is one violent man!
