Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adam Hoppus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mutombik Frido! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frido looks to land a combination but Hoppus avoids it well. Frido tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hoppus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The fight stays on the outside here - Frido looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Frido gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hoppus to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hoppus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hoppus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Frido throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Frido is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hoppus dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frido tries to bench press Hoppus off him but Hoppus keeps the position. Hoppus has an Americana. Frido didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hoppus is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hoppus hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
Bilashki slaps away a takedown attempt from Johnson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Johnson takes one on the button.
It looks like Brandon Johnson has been cut. Bilashki misses with the combination.
No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt. Bilashki drives through and clinches with Johnson against the cage.
Johnson is trying to break the clinch but Bilashki has him pressed against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bilashki has had enough of the clinch but Johnson keeps him there for the moment. Bilashki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Jon Bilashki has been cut. Johnson looks gassed! Bilashki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bilashki wants it to stay on the feet. Bilashki shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt. Bilashki rushes Johnson and presses him up against the cage. Bilashki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bilashki shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bilashki tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bilashki lands with a right hand. Bilashki misses with a series of wild punches.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bilashki closes the distance and pushes Johnson back into the cage. Bilashki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson tries to keep at a distance but Bilashki has taken the fight into the clinch. Bilashki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bilashki scores with a three punch combo!
Johnson shoots in but no luck this time. Bilashki moves into the clinch. Bilashki pulls guard effortlessly. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Johnson throws a strike but Bilashki rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bilashki is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bilashki stands and steps away. Johnson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bilashki but Bilashki pushes him off and we're back to square one. Johnson misses with a head kick.
Bilashki lands a left and a right that send Johnson crashing to the mat, dazed. Bilashki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Johnson is rocked! Bilashki connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Johnson covering up! Bilashki comes in with a big uppercut and Johnson goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aalto throws a right and a left that Stockton avoids nicely. Stockton is looking to take this fight into the clinch. That kick from Stockton tenderised Aalto's leg. Aalto is trying to keep his angry face on. A combination from Aalto does no damage. Aalto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stockton as he avoids it easily. Aalto fails with a takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Stockton looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stockton looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Homie Stockton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stockton's guard. Aalto is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stockton doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Aalto. Stockton is refusing to be controlled, as Aalto sits in half guard. Stockton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aalto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Aalto is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Stockton is surviving well by controlling Aalto's body position as best he can. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stockton is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Aalto locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Stockton is forced to tap!

McBox looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Streder not landing any meaningful shots this time. Streder not doing much here.

McBox has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Streder is really squeezing tight and eventually McBox passes out! Streder breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Teleporttila misses with a low kick as Raiona jumps back. Teleporttila tries to work over Raiona's front leg with a kick but Raiona checks it. Teleporttila blocks a jab. and Teleporttila cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A solid body kick from Teleporttila. Raiona swings for the body but Teleporttila moves out of range.
Raiona stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Teleporttila. A shot to the liver by Raiona. Beautiful body shot. Raiona blocks a low kick nicely. Raiona looks to land a right hand but Teleporttila moved out of range. Raiona throws a lazy right hand but Teleporttila sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Raiona gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Raiona being controlled here, momentarily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Raiona closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Teleporttila's guard. Jari Teleporttila overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Teleporttila looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Raiona really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Teleporttila. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pony fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tero throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A jab from Pony does it's job there. Pony scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tero in his tracks. Pony drives through with a takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Tero keeping full guard, as Pony tries to pass. Pony trying to control the position from guard on top but Tero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tero is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Pony in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Pony is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Pony takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Pony has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tero tries to lock up and control but Pony gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Pony scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tero?
