10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damon Rekker! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomez swats away the attempt to clinch by Rekker. Rekker tries to clinch but Gomez moves away and Gomez counters with a shoot takedown. Rekker fights it but they end up in guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Gomez wants to stand and escape but instead Rekker has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Rekker wants to stand but Gomez is controlling his posture from full guard. Gomez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rekker defends it easily. Rekker wants to get up but he can't break Gomez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Rekker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gomez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rekker has managed to get both his arms back between Gomez's legs - danger averted. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gomez looking for a guillotine here but Rekker defends easily.

Gomez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gomez stops Rekker from standing up. Gomez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rekker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gomez decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rekker, up you get! Rekker tries to clinch up. Gomez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gomez goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rekker has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gomez but great work by Rekker. Rekker tries for a kimura but Gomez is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gomez sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Rekker tries to stand and escape but Gomez is controlling the position. Gomez looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Gomez controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Rekker wants to stand but Gomez has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Rekker is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Roxton has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Redd. Both fighters circling a little - Redd finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Roxton manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Roxton takes a jab right on the kisser.

And that's the end of the fight! Silas Redd showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Redd, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

It looks like Anders Eriksson has been cut. Eriksson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Eriksson throws a nice looking combination but Face bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Eriksson takes a shot right to the bread basket. Eriksson is breathing heavily. Face feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Eriksson sprawling to the canvas! Eriksson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Face finish him?!
Eriksson is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Face misses the jab. Oh Eriksson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Eriksson misses with a double jab

Tanner lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Walton hang on? Walton wants to control but Tanner is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walton working to try and regain half guard.

Tanner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Walton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Walton tries to work over Tanner's front leg with a kick but Tanner checks it. Walton misses with an uppercut. Walton gets caught flat footed, as Tanner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tanner trying to control the position from guard on top but Walton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Walton is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tanner content to stall in guard here. Walton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tanner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Walton wants to sweep here but Tanner controlling him for the moment.

Walton looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tanner puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Walton on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Walton trying to control but Tanner postures up.
Tanner takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Tanner wants to control but Walton is keeping him busy. Tanner missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Tanner sitting and controlling from the half guard. Tanner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Walton leaves Tanner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Walton throws a body punch but Tanner moves out of range. Tanner throws a body punch but Walton moves out of range. Walton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Walton wants it to stay on the feet. Walton tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Tanner counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Walton! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Walton working to try and regain half guard.
Walton tries to lock up and control but Tanner gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Walton might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tanner kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Tanner can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Walton is looking to escape. Walton keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
