3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, CJ Miller! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turilli shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Miller as Turilli shoots in. Miller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luca Turilli. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turilli tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Miller swinging wildly here.
Turilli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miller tries to avoid it but Turilli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miller to the ground. Miller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Turilli ducks under a wild hook from Miller. Miller throws a lazy right hand but Turilli sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Turilli with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Miller to score with a decent uppercut. Miller lands a lovely overhand right.

Miller throws a body punch but Turilli moves out of range. Miller throws a wild body kick that Turilli sees coming a mile off. Miller lands with a nice combination. Turilli backs away looking to recover. Turilli on the wrong end of a nice hook. Turilli chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Miller can pounce on him.

Luca Turilli's cut is getting worse. Miller lands with a kick to the temple. Turilli shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Miller uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Turilli has time to react. Miller lands with a slapping head kick.
Turilli is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Turilli uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Miller. Oh Turilli is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Miller scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Turilli doesn't seem bothered though. Turilli seems to have got his legs back now. Turilli tries to move into range but Miller moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Miller takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Miller throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nice sprawl there from Miller as Turilli shoots in. Miller lands a leg kick that knocks Turilli off balance momentarily. Luca Turilli is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Turilli avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Miller moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Turilli fails with a takedown attempt. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewart stuffs the takedown attempt from Rellik. Rellik gets slowly back to his feet. Rellik fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Some wild striking there from Rellik.
Stewart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rellik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Stewart wants to control but Rellik is keeping him busy. Rellik is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Stewart throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Rellik works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Stewart landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Van Kirkland explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Firnanda chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Van Kirkland can pounce on him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferdinand doesn't succeed with the takedown and Unitas decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ferdinand's guard. Ferdinand working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Unitas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Unitas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Unitas trying to control the position from guard on top but Ferdinand is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Unitas throwing strikes from guard but Ferdinand blocks nicely. Unitas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ferdinand's waist but Ferdinand gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Unitas off to one side. Ferdinand shoots in looking for a takedown but Unitas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ferdinand's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ferdinand has his takedown stuffed and Unitas counters with a single leg into guard. Ferdinand didn't expect that. Unitas trying to control the position from guard on top but Ferdinand is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ferdinand is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Unitas is looking to get back to is feet but Ferdinand passes into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Unitas swings around for an armbar but Ferdinand sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Unitas's guard. David Unitas has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ferdinand postures up in Unitas's guard and throws a big left but Unitas blocks it. Ferdinand tries to free his leg and advance position but Unitas is retaining full guard. Unitas is looking to stand up but Ferdinand isn't so interested in that idea. Ferdinand trying to control but Unitas is working from the bottom. Ferdinand postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Unitas is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ferdinand, into his guard. Unitas throwing strikes from guard but Ferdinand blocks nicely. Ferdinand throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Sagdiyev blocks a body shot from Lack. Lack throws a head punch that misses. A battle for position here, against the cage. Sagdiyev tries to break free but Lack pushes him back against the cage. Lack makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Lack tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Sagdiyev being controlled against the cage. Sagdiyev blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sagdiyev lands with a light punch inside. Sagdiyev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lack throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lack throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sagdiyev. Sagdiyev fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sagdiyev lands a nice hook to Lack's body. Lack takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Lack counters with a three punch combo that has Sagdiyev backing up. Sagdiyev nods at Lack to acknowledge the strikes. Sagdiyev misses with a body shot.
Sagdiyev cracks Lack with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. A shot to the body from Sagdiyev misses and Lack counters with a left and a right that stings Sagdiyev.
Sagdiyev is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lack pounces like a tiger and cracks Sagdiyev with a vicious hook! Sagdiyev is down but not out! Lack follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Marquardt decides to return to a standing position. Cornegy looks to throw the jab but Marquardt is out of range. Marquardt gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cornegy. Cornegy slips a jab and a cross from Marquardt.
