The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Czyzewski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lynix sprawls well. Lynix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Czyzewski gets slowly back to his feet. Czyzewski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lynix. Lynix scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lynix, as that shot connected.
It looks like Wot Czyzewski has been cut. Lynix throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Czyzewski. Nice shot by Lynix. Czyzewski has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Czyzewski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lynix misses with an uppercut
and Czyzewski counters with a slapping leg kick. Lynix fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lynix lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Lynix is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lynix looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Lynix is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Czyzewski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Czyzewski throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Czyzewski controlling from side mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Czyzewski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Czyzewski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Czyzewski is looking to take a break and control but Lynix is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Czyzewski laying and praying for a moment but Lynix takes advantage and regains half guard. Czyzewski trying to control from half guard but Lynix is working away. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Czyzewski is working for a kimura but Lynix is defending it quite comfortably.

Czyzewski is looking for a kimura but Lynix is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Czyzewski to get the leverage. Lynix wants to get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Lars Lynix will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Wot Czyzewski's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lynix closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Czyzewski! Lynix dives in looking to finish! Czyzewski is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel misses with a double jab.
Green scores with a sloppy right hand. Steel should have avoided that one. Green lands a jab to Steel's midsection. Green shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Steel as he jumps to the side. Green connects with a looping right hand.
Green fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Steel. Steel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Steel checks a leg kick. Green takes a kick to the side of the head. Green on the wrong end of a nice jab. Green tries to work over Steel's front leg with a kick but Steel checks it. Green connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Steel! He's out on his feet! Green rushes in and drops Steel with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Post fight, Russell Green took to the microphone: 'It's weird that I'm here right now, speaking to you all with my first win. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mauser's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mauser duly obliges.
It looks like Josh Burns has been cut. Mauser throws out a powerful jab. A shot to the liver by Mauser. Beautiful body shot. Mauser connects with a looping right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mauser lands a jab to the nose. Mauser tries to bum rush Burns with a series of wild strikes but Burns uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mauser throws a combination that misses and Burns moves into the clinch. Mauser misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Burns blocks a body shot from Mauser. Burns gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Burns is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Mauser tries to roll over but Burns keeps him under control. Mauser avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Burns. Mauser tries to get to full guard but Burns has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns decides to stand up. Burns moves to clinch but Mauser breaks away and Mauser counters with a shoot takedown. Burns fights it but they end up in guard. Burns avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mauser trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Burns tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mauser with a flurry of punches that miss. Burns is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Mauser avoids the elbow strike from Burns, against the ropes.

Burns tries to land knees in the clinch but Mauser avoids the damage to the body. Mauser lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Burns backwards. Burns tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Mauser throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Burnss head. Mauser lands with a light punch inside. Mauser misses with a hook from the clinch. Burns trying to land knees to the body.
Burns swings wildly with an uppercut but Mauser uses good head movement to avoid it. Burns manages to break the clinch.
Mauser fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Burns shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mauser manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Mauser wants to sweep here but Burns controlling him for the moment. Burns trying to control the position from guard on top but Mauser is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Burns postures up in Mauser's guard and throws a big left but Mauser blocks it. Mauser wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Burns loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Mauser is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Burns defends well. Burns stopping the sweep attempt from Mauser. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Trent Mauser will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Josh Burns's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

It's a sloppy attempt though and Burns jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Josh Burns overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. This has been an exciting period of action! Peterson wants to control from the top but McRiot keeps moving. Max McRiot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McRiot pushes Peterson up against the ropes in a clinch. Peterson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McRiot just stands there and leans against the ropes. Peterson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McRiot fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Carlos Peterson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McRiot clinches up with Peterson and pushes him back against the ropes. McRiot successfully pulls guard.

Santos tries for a takedown but Orlan circles away easily and Orlan counters with a thumping low kick. A low kick from Orlan is predictable there and Santos counters with a lovely straight right hand! Orlan misses with a head kick.
