0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Donnie Drake! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drake shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Esch napping and manages to drive through into side control! The strikes coming from Drake are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Esch might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Esch is trying to control Drake's posture but Drake avoids it. Drake postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Esch tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Drake wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Esch wants to control but Drake postures up. Drake lands some shots froms side control. Drake in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. A bit of a lull in the action here. Esch is working to avoid the ground and pound but Drake connects with a decent elbow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Drake wants to lay and pray for a moment but Esch keeps working. Drake misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Esch is trying to control Drake's posture but Drake avoids it. Drake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Drake working the ground and pound from side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Esch as he connects with a hook. Browne throws a nice head kick!
Browne lands a big head kick that sends Esch tumbling to the mat! Browne takes a step backwards and waves Esch back to his feet - he wants the finish! This has been an exciting period of action! Browne tries a head kick but it misses.
Esch loads up on a big right hand but Browne slips the punch. Esch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Browne doesn't seem bothered though. Browne has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Browne moves out of range of the strikes. Browne is looking to slow Esch down with leg kicks. Esch sizes up Browne with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Browne throws a head kick that Esch semi-blocks.

Esch throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Browne lands a big head kick that sends Esch tumbling to the mat! Browne takes a step backwards and waves Esch back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Esch is rocked! Browne ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Esch is still on wobbly legs! Can Browne finish him? Browne and Esch are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Browne throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Esch into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Browne knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Robert Browne! During a confident post fight interview, Robert Browne thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bastion gets a clinch. Bastion wants to take the fight to the mat but Klemmetsen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Bastion effectively controlling the action here. Bastion pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Bastion tries a body shot but Klemmetsen blocks it.
Klemmetsen is defending well against a takedown attempt. Bastion is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Klemmetsen can't fight it off and eventually Bastion manages to take the fight to the floor. Klemmetsen looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bastion takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Bastion shoots in for a takedown but Klemmetsen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seb Bastion. That's going to take a lot out of him. Klemmetsen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bastion does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Klemmetsen misses with a double jab
and Bastion counters with a shoot takedown. Klemmetsen fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bastion slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Klemmetsen trying to keep a closed guard but Bastion is proving a slippery customer.
Bastion stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Klemmetsen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bastion jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Klemmetsen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Klemmetsen and Bastion has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Dulcis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dulcis stands up from Prime Time's guard - Dulcis perhaps looking for a knockout. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mike Prime Time will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Wayne Dulcis's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jensen clinches up with Jacksson and pushes him back against the cage. A short right from Jensen on the inside. Jensen works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
