4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Voda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damon Cross! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cross clinches up with Voda and pushes him back against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Voda fails to land. Voda scores with a nice hook to the head. Voda makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Cross utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Voda working aggressively here.

Cross tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Voda avoids it. Cross trying to land knees to the body.
Voda lands a shoulder strike. Cross misses with a knee to the head. A right handed body shot lands from Voda.
This has been an exciting period of action! A head punch on the inside from Voda fails to land. Cross has Voda pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Cross pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Voda tumbling to the mat - Cross dives into Voda's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Cross wants to control from the top but Voda keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Voda can't keep his opponent in guard - Cross advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Cross is looking to advance position but Voda won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Voda is looking for a sweep. Cross is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cross thows a huge punch but Voda dodges it nicely.
Voda wants to improve his position but Cross is controlling well.

Voda knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cross on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Damon Cross. Voda cracks Cross with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Cross shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Voda as he avoids it easily. Cross tries to clinch and Voda counters with a straight that turns Cross's legs to rubber! Voda pushes forward with more strikes and Cross goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holmess swinging wildly here.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Holmess lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Eron Silva has been cut. Holmess manages to break the clinch.
Silva pushes Holmess up against the cage in a clinch. Holmess tries a body shot but Silva blocks it.
Silva dodges an elbow strike from Holmess.

Silva keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Holmess's efforts to push away. Silva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Holmess is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Holmess is trying to stall.

Silva throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Holmess is not content to let Silva control the position. Silva works his way into full mount! Silva fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Silva slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Silva landing strikes. Silva advances to full mount. Silva is landing with some decent strikes but Holmess is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Silva is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Holmess can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Holmess really wants to buck Silva off and get back to his feet. Holmess takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Holmess is rocked! A big strike lands for Silva! That's really hurt Holmess and he's turned his back - Silva keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Silva jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Spoons dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Pede shoots in for a takedown but Spoons shows good takedown defense. Pede shoots in and bounces Spoons off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Pede stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spoons swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pede passes into half guard. Pede is trying for a kimura here. Spoons looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Pede wins by kimura!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Park fails with the takedown and AD counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. AD lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Park fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bong Park. That's going to take a lot out of him. AD fails to land with a series of punches.
Park misses with a takedown and AD counters with a lovely straight right hand! Park is breathing heavily. Park gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and AD counters with a straight punch to the midsection. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Park. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. AD throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Park. Park walks into a stiff left hand from AD.

Skank turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Butterworth fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That kick from Skank tenderised Butterworth's leg. Butterworth is trying to keep his angry face on. Skank thumps Butterworth with a low kick. Skank leaves Butterworth with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. This has been an exciting period of action! Skank lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Butterworth tries to clinch but Skank moves out of range. Skank moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Skank lands a leg kick that knocks Butterworth off balance momentarily. Skank connects with a leg kick. Butterworth looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Skank looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Butterworth walks forward, straight into a front kick from Skank. Skank buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Skank slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Crunch! Skank slams his shin into Butterworth's torso. Butterworth walks forward, straight into a front kick from Skank. Butterworth tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skank fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Butterworth. Horrible takedown by Butterworth or perhaps it was just good defense by Skank which made him look bad. Butterworth takes a kick to the side of the head. Skank plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A solid leg kick lands there for Skank.

Butterworth takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Skank pushes Butterworth away with a front kick. Butterworth has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Skank. Skank moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
