Stompe pushes Rodriguez away with a front kick.
Rodriguez is breathing heavily.
Stompe cracks the inside of Rodriguez's front leg.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Stompe, right into the meat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stompe plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Whack! Stompe lands a heavy head kick that drops Rodriguez. The ref tackles Stompe to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Rodriguez was done.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stan TheMan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Silvas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). TheMan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get Up Again. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Silvas tries to close the distance and clinch but TheMan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Silvas drops his hands momentarily and TheMan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Cannon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The Pendulum lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The ref is looking closely - Ruanti is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Ruanti is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
