Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ferris Bueller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Demian Maja! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bueller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maja sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bueller somewhat.
Bueller drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bueller working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Maja is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bueller is controlling him well.
Bueller looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Maja tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Maja works his way to full guard. Good work. Maja wants to control the position but Bueller says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Maja is looking to control Bueller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Maja avoid being mounted? Bueller looks to land a strike but Maja avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Maja wants to control position but Bueller is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Maja here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jake Tyler was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Tyler looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Kowalsky is looking to regain half guard here but Tyler keeps moving and retains side control. Kowalsky sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Tyler is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kowalsky defends it well. Kowalsky controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Kowalsky wants to control but Tyler is keeping busy.

Tyler has gone for a leg lock! Kowalsky slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tyler's guard. Tyler keeping moving, preventing Kowalsky from controlling successfully. Tyler wants to sweep here but Kowalsky controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kowalsky wants to control from the top but Tyler keeps moving.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kowalsky would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Kowalsky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tyler swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kowalsky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kowalsky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kowalsky is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Kowalsky wants to control from the top but Tyler keeps moving.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Tyler blocks a head kick by Kowalsky.
Tyler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kowalsky sprawls well initially but Tyler persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kowalsky works his way to full guard. Good work.

Tyler is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Kowalsky defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Kowalsky trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Tyler has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kowalsky is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tyler. Tyler is trying to improve his position.  That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kowalsky has the hooks in. Tyler is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Jake Tyler has got the better of the ground game so far. Tyler turns into Kowalsky and is now in his guard.

 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva shoots in for a takedown but Law shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Law tries to clinch up. Silva walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Law closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A short left from Law. Law throws a knee to the head but misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Law can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Silva controls the pace. Law gets to his feet - Silva follows without any prompting. Law sizes up Silva with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Silva wants to slow Law down by chopping away at his legs. Law closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Law pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Law counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Silva misses with a takedown attempt and Law counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Law gets in close and instigates a clinch. Law is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Law lands a knee to the head.

 It looks like Bezerra da Silva has been cut. Nice elbow from Law. A knee to the head by Law.
Law lands an elbow inside that Silva shrugs off. Law connects with a knee to the head.
 Silva is rocked! Law is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Law finish him?
Law tightens his grip and picks Silva up, before dumping him to the ground. Silva manages to land in guard. Silva seems to have recovered his senses. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Law decides to pull guard. Silva trying to control but Law is working from the bottom. Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Law works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Law manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Law misses with a series of wild punches.
Law scores with a punch to the head. Silva takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Law scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Law misses with a body kick. Law lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Silva backs up against the cage.
Law closes the distance and clinches. A short left from Law. Law is struggling to control the position. Silva tries to pull guard but Law holds him up against the cage and eventually Silva drops back down to his feet.

Law wants the takedown. Silva is fighting it off but Law persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Silva's guard against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Law lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Law looking to throw knees to the head but Silva is blocking nicely.

Huey Law dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bezerra da Silva's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Silva fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Law checks it well. Silva has a takedown stuffed. Law shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Law circles away from the clinch attempt enabling Law to counter with a crisp jab. Law with a hook. Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Law is just out of range. Silva throws a right hand that Law ducks under and follows up with a left that Law also avoids with ease. Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Law circles away.
Huey Law seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Law gets in close and instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Law misses with a knee strike.

Law throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Silva blocks it with crossed arms. Silva is looking to control Law's arms but Law gets an underhook and turns him. Now Silva has his back to the cage. Law displaying some good clinch control by pressing Silva up against the cage. Silva is looking to break free of the clinch but Law has double underhooks. Silva pushes Law back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Silva trying to control the position but instead, Law has worked for underhooks and has pushed Silva into the cage. Law is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Silva gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Huey Law. That's going to take a lot out of him. Law lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Silva is trying to force a seperation but Law has the dominant position. Law connects with a knee to the head.
 That has opened up Bezerra da Silva's cut even more. Law softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Law gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Silva takes a knee right on the jaw!

Huey Law is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Silva clinches but Law breaks the clinch
and Law counters by clinching up. Silva tries to break free but Law pushes him back against the cage. Law lands a nice elbow from the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Silva. Law with a knee to the head.

Law stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Law has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Law goes for a takedown in the clinch but Silva prevents it.

 The cut above Bezerra da Silva's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Law has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Law holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Silva jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Law walks away with a smile on his face. Silva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Law clinches up with Silva and pushes him back against the cage. Silva tries to pull guard but Law won't allow it.
Law lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Law creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Silva's defenses. Silva stalling in the clinch but Law improves position.
Law's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva tries to keep at a distance but Law has taken the fight into the clinch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Law lands an elbow that stopped Silva in his tracks for a moment. Law prevents a takedown attempt there.

Law manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Silva looking to sit in guard and control but Law gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Law is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Law has managed to sneak the leg through. Silva is trying to control but Law manages to pass to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Huey Law dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Bezerra da Silva's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

 Bezerra da Silva's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Silva wants a takedown but no success here.
Huey Law has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bezerra da Silva. Law connects with a knee to the head.

Paiva throws a right hand that Payne ducks under and follows up with a left that Payne also avoids with ease. Payne tries to clinch but Paiva moves out of range. Paiva misses with a series of wild punches.

Paiva drops Payne with a beautiful combination! Payne stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Paiva is looking for the KO!

He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Georgios punching from mount but Mussum doing a good job of avoiding damage. Georgios with shots to the head and body - Mussum looks very uncomfortable down there. Georgios lands a big elbow. Georgios is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poor strikes thrown by Georgios there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Mussum should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Mussum is trying to stand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Georgios is defended easily by Mussum. Mussum misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Horrible takedown by Georgios or perhaps it was just good defense by Mussum which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Din Georgios. Mussum walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Georgios checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Georgios fails to land the takedown. Mussum throws a leg kick but Georgios sees it coming and moves out of range. Mussum misses with a low kick.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Georgios fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mussum avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Din Georgios. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mussum fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Georgios. Mussum tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mussum throws a leg kick but Georgios sees it coming and checks it nicely. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mussum.

Georgios postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Georgios throws and elbow that misses. Mussum uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Georgios's guard. Nice move by Mussum! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mussum postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mussum wants to stand but Georgios is controlling his posture from full guard.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lidel wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Tota Lidel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lidel throws a nice looking combination but Vantaggiato bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Vantaggiato avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Vantaggiato showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lidel.
Lidel throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Lidel slips a straight right by Vantaggiato. Lidel misses with a wild combination.
Lidel throws a looping overhand right but Vantaggiato ducks down to avoid it. Lidel uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Vantaggiato slips under a jab from Lidel.

Lidel throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Vantaggiato colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Lidel as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Vantaggiato is left battered and dazed whilst Lidel and his camp cheer!
