Alanen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Alanen tries to clinch up. Ali falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Pietari smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Harris wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Harris tries to get to full guard but Kuhta has control of the leg.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Midas throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Beastmaster throws a lazy uppercut
and Midas counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Midas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Beastmaster manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Midas lands with a shot to the body. Beastmaster looks to land a combination but Midas avoids it well. Midas scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Beastmaster is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Midas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Beastmaster has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Midas throws a combination. Beastmaster tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Beastmaster takes a kick to the side of the head. Midas scores with a jab to the head.

Beastmaster takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Midas lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A good leg kick by Midas. Beastmaster walks into a stiff left hand from Midas. That kick from Midas tenderised Beastmaster's leg. Beastmaster is trying to keep his angry face on.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A big right from Beastmaster misses. Midas lands with an overhand left.
Midas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Beastmaster sprawling to the canvas! Beastmaster rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Midas finish him?!
 Beastmaster is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Midas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Beastmaster. Midas with a nice cross. Oh Beastmaster is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Midas scores with a jab to the body.
Midas closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Beastmaster seems to have got his legs back now. Midas lands a knee to the body.

Midas's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Midas lands a nice shot to the body. Midas utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Midas pushes Beastmaster back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Midas stalls. The crowd are getting on Midas's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
Midas drops Beastmaster with a big knee straight up the middle! Beastmaster is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
 It looks like Kodarc Beastmaster has been cut. Midas gets in close and tags Beastmaster with a short punch that almost sends Beastmaster to the mat! Oh Beastmaster is in big trouble! He turns his back on Midas, trying to create some distance but Midas rushes him, striking wildly and Beastmaster goes down! The referee tackles Midas into the cage to end the fight! Midas is one violent man!

Masaru comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tappio takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Tadashi Masaru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Masaru moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Masaru, as that shot connected.

He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Tappio missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Tappio has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. McGregor doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Pony shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McGregor defends it nicely. Charlie McGregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tunturi Pony. McGregor is looking to chop away at Pony's legs. Pony throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
