The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lappin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lappin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! A right-left combo lands from Johnson. Lappin wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance. Johnson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Johnson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Johnson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Johnson is nestled in close to Lappin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Johnson tries to pass to full mount but Lappin defends it. This has been an exciting period of action! Johnson scoring with strikes but Lappin is staying in there. Johnson lands a big shot there that rocks Lappin but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robertson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Robertson takes a swing at Mazric's ribcage but misses. Mazric keeps Robertson at a distance using the push kick. Mazric steps into range and cracks Robertson with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Robertson flops backwards and Mazric dives into his guard looking to finish!
Robertson is rocked! Mazric gets to his feet. Robertson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! and Mazric counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Robertson! He's just covering up as Mazric starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasputin shoots in but Syrovatkin avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rasputin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Syrovatkin can do anything to dispel that myth. Syrovatkin is looking to reverse the position. Rasputin wants to control but Syrovatkin is keeping him busy. Syrovatkin manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Rasputin wants to control but Syrovatkin is keeping busy and won't allow it. Rasputin defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ho Kam with shots to the head and body - Smith looks very uncomfortable down there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick by Polaniecki misses and Smith counters with a nice body kick.

It looks like Gniewomir Polaniecki has been cut. Smith shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Polaniecki tries for a takedown but Smith circles away easily and Smith counters with a lovely straight right hand! Polaniecki dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on Polaniecki's head and hops out. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowron tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Koontz with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jason Koontz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bowron throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Koontz's waist but Koontz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bowron off to one side. Koontz pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bowron is out of range and Koontz settles back down. Bowron closes the distance and clinches up with Koontz, looking for a takedown. Bowron pushes Koontz against the cage but Koontz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Koontz scores with a shot to the body.
