Siap closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gurgel to the mat! Gurgel manages to get full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gurgel looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Siap is defending well. Gurgel quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Cruz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sloppy strikes from Balakubak. Those never looked like landing.

Balakubak rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cruz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hansen comes to the cage accompanied by This City - Patrick Stump. Hayden Hansen had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Durty stalks Konda and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Konda's face. Konda staggers backwards, shaken.
Konda shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Durty as he avoids it easily.
Konda shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Konda takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
